THE FRONT ROW
The Volvo Ocean Race is the World's longest
professional sporting event and leading offshore
sailing competition. As a Freelance Photographer
and because of my relationship with sailing boats,
I thought that it would be a nice chance to get
involved in this adventure, shooting photos. So,
it was time to try out the Camerapixo's Press
Card. Artur and Anetta showed great support for
my project and backed me up with everything
needed in order to obtain from the Volvo Ocean
Race organization, my accreditation as a Media
Independent Photographer for the event. All media
facilities were there for my use and I've met all
kind of interesting people and great artists. My

row, where the action was taking place.

URBAN MELODIES
With my series “URBAN MELODIES” I create, by superimposing
different pictures, an abstract representation of urban landscapes
and contemporary life from modern metropolis like Rome, New
York, Paris, Berlin and many others. By just a posing a different
images, my aim is to show an usual image in a conceptual way,
where everything is duplicated, the lights and the structures

A scene from Spåkenes in Kåfjord, Norway. I was happy to start my 2014 season with this capture. It was captured in the middle of September,
which is an alright time to start the aurora season in northern Norway. The pond in the front makes a nice foreground element to the mighty alps.

Northern Light - The sky was clear above the mountain Kvænangsfjellet in
Troms, Norway when a major solar storm ignited the night sky. Due to the
absence of the moon it was possible to capture the dim Milky Way that we
have up here in the Arctic. I particulary like the foreground in this capture as
the small bumps of snow covered grass makes it look like it's captured on
another planet.
Arctic Blue - This was captured at Kvænangsfjellet in Troms, Norway in the

beginning of October 2015. The northern lights were very active this night
and it was really one of those nights that sparks the motivation to stay outside
in the freezing cold for hours. The idea behind this shot was to have the rocks
that peaked up from the snow lead into the frame. One thing is for sure: It is
hard to work that perfect capture when the aurora goes crazy in the sky.

place to witness the stary sky due to it being located 500m above sea level. For this capture I
wanted the rocks to lead into the frame as the Aurora Borealis moved as waves in the night sky.

I was having a little run on the croatian seashore at sunset. When I jumped in a very little cove. It was incredible to see that
old, small ladder drowning in the calm sea. It was the perfect metaphor for such a great end of the day.

In Tunisia we can still meet handicrafts men exercising professions that are about to disappear forever.
One of them is carpet weaving. When I saw this man and his devotion to this art, I was immediately
attracted and I let to be taken in a completely different time.

I have taken this photo on holi festival 2015 at Sowkarpet, Chennai Tamilnadu, India. It was a colourful day alover
the streets with more joy. This kid was almost exhausted with playing and she was about to fresh up her with water.

The old man here uses his troglodyte to get relax after working in his small field. I was lucky to be
accepted by him in his cave house. It is not possible to add here all his life experiences but I would
like to describe him with his two sides of faces reflected on the mirror as a resume of his life.
