studied at college in California. He wanted to become an actor, so he went to
Hollywood. He did some TV work and then, in 1954, played Cal in the movie
East of Eden. He became a star and got money to buy a car. He bought a
Porsche, but then he had an accident and died. He was only 24 years old.
