Deed of Agreement - BLDG Construction
This AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between MARITES D. BECKER, of legal age,
Filipino, married, a resident and with postal address at Brgy. Bato, Biliran, Biliran hereinafter referred to
as the FIRST PARTY and Engr GLEEN P. QUIJADA, likewise of legal age, Filipino, married, a resident and
with postal address at Puro Tugas, Calumpang, Naval, Biliran, hereinafter referred to as the SECOND
PARTY.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, FIRST PARTY is desirous of having a residential building to be erected at Brgy. Bato,
Biliran, Biliran;
WHEREAS, SECOND PARTY is a qualified experienced engineer duly licensed under the
Philippine laws;
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the above premises, parties have agreed as they
do hereby agree the following terms and conditions:
THAT the work shall be a design and build project. The plan and specifications hereto attached
however shall be approved by the FIRST PARTY after a series of consultations. Thereafter the SECOND
PARTY shall cause the issuance of permits and government requirements for its construction within one
year warranty period;
THAT the project shall start on June 13, 2022 and to be ready for occupancy on February 13,
2023.
THAT the Total Project Cost is THREE MILLION PESOS (P 3,000,000.00) to be paid in the
following manner:
a. 50% - upon execution of this contract;
b. P 750,000.00 – October 5, 2022;
c. P 600,000.00 December 5, 2022;
d. 5% - retention to be released only upon completion/turnover of the project.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we hereunto affix our signature this ____ day of June 2022 at the Municipality
of Naval, Biliran, Philippines.

BEFORE ME, a Notary Public, personally appeared the above parties on the date and at the place
above written, known to me and to me known to be the same persons who executed the foregoing
Deed of Agreement which is acknowledge to be their own free and voluntary act and deed.
