Worksheet #1:

1. I think the most appropriate and comprehensive definition of humanities is it is the study of human
values which includes all the aspects that are related to them. For instance, their society, cultures,
languages, and history.

2. Art is where the artists express their feelings, thoughts, and observations, which he gets from the
environment or surroundings. Therefore, “the study of art is the study of mankind” means that there is
no art if there are no human or objects.

3. As a student, I think I should study the humanities to learn about different cultures and the history of
different things. As a result, I may understand deeply the world we live in and I may imagine the future
that we may have or what I can contribute for the better prospective.

Worksheet #2:

1. In my view, the core discipline of humanities with most valuable contribution to its formation is
Archeology. Archeology gives us the opportunity to learn about past cultures through the study of
artifacts, animal bones, and sometimes human bones. Studying these artifacts helps us better
understand the lives of those who left no documents.

2. The humanities are a branch of science that deals with inheritance and the question of what makes us
who we are. While arts are usually considered as part of the humanities.

Worksheet #3:

1. Based on the given definition of artist, artist is a person who exhibits exceptional skills in either
various or specific areas and/or sub-areas of arts. Unlike other people, he is more sensitive and more
creative. From that definition, I can’t consider myself as an artist since I am not creative enough.

2. If I am a part of three-fold process of creativity, I will be the interpreter since I am good at interpreting
something at audience and I am not good in performing.

3. I can determine whether an artwork is creative work of an artist if the artist work hard , give his whole
heart and his best as well on doing the artwork.
