I'm Sebastian, a Jesuit religious in formation.

I started in the world of art at an early age

- two years old. My first career was as a visual and plastic artist. Upon graduating from
university, I worked for two years and then, after a long discernment, entered the Jesuit
Order in 2015.
 
That drastic change caused me to reconsider my relationship with the world of art, and.
I began to search for God in painting. That's when I met Iconography in the Byzantine
and Orthodox tradition. 
 
I remain a novice in this new world of Iconography: the technique, the preparatory
prayer, the requisite silence to write an Icon. It's my way of communicating to God and
God's way of communicating His Presence to me.
