Introduction
In today’s rapidly evolving world, Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) has become a cornerstone of
progress across various sectors.To stay updated with the latest
trends and developments in this field,an ICT workshop was
conducted at Jamia Nadaviyya campus, edavanna.ICT workshop
session-1 by sarath sir held on 23/08/2023 from 9.30AM to
12.30 PM at admin block , Jamia . 2nd session by Sameer Khan
sir (Director and CAO of Talrop), from 1.45 to 3.30 PM at Jamia
Nadaviyya Techies park.
Significance of the workshop: Firstly,they offered participants a
comprehensive understanding of the ever- evolving landscape
of ICT.By addressing both theoretical and practical aspects,the
workshop bridged the gap between classroom learning and
real-world Implementation. Secondly,the interactive nature of
the sessions fostered an environment conducive to open
discussions and knowledge exchange. This allowed participants
to clarify doubts and gain insights from the facilitator.
Session – 1
What is ICT ?
ICT stands for “Information and Communication Technology.” It refers
to a broad range of technologies and tools used to handle information
and aid communication. This includes computers, software, networks,
telecommunications, and various digital devices that enable individuals
and organizations to create, access, store, and transmit information.
How to connect projector?
Connect the projector to your device using a compatible cable (HDMI,
VGA, etc.), select the correct input source on the projector, and adjust
display settings on your device if needed. Power on the projector, and
you should see your device’s screen projected.
Blog ,Scribd & e-book
Creating a Blog:Select a blogging platform, create an account, and start
writing and formatting your posts. Publish them to share your ideas and
insights with readers.
Using Scribd:Sign up for Scribd, browse and read content, or upload
your own documents to contribute to the platform’s collection.
Making an E-book:Write your content using a word processor, format it
properly, and design a cover. Convert it to an e-book format like EPUB
or MOBI, and publish it on e-book platforms for readers to purchase
and enjoy.

ChatGPT
ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI. It’s designed to
understand and generate human-like text based on the input it
receives. It uses a type of artificial intelligence called a generative pre-
trained transformer (GPT) to process and generate text. You’re
currently interacting with ChatGPT through the Android app, where it
can help answer questions, provide information, assist with tasks, and
engage in conversations.
Virtual reality
Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that simulates a realistic and
immersive experience by using computer-generated environments and
sensory inputs such as visuals, sounds, and sometimes even haptic
feedback. Users typically wear VR headsets to enter these simulated
worlds, allowing them to interact with and explore virtual spaces as if
they were physically present within them. It’s often used in
entertainment, gaming, education, training, and various other
applications.
AI Slide maker
An AI slide maker typically refers to a tool or software that uses
artificial intelligence to assist in creating presentation slides. These
tools can help automate tasks such as designing layouts, generating
content, suggesting visuals, and even organizing information. They aim
to make the process of creating slides faster and more efficient.
Conclusion
The ICT workshops led by Sarath Sir and Shameer Khan sir have
been instrumental in enhancing our knowledge of Information
and Communication Technology. The combination of
theoretical concepts, practical demonstrations, and interactive
discussions has not only enriched our understanding but also
inspired us to explore the limitless possibilities that ICT offers.
As we move forward, the lessons learned from these
workshops will undoubtedly contribute to our personal and
professional growth in the digital age.The participants gained
valuable skills that they can use in their teaching practice.
I could learn a lot about information and communication
technology.l could experience virtual reality for the first time in
life.
