Dear Mary,

Thanks a lot for your recent email. It was nice to hear from you again. I hope you’re OK.
I your email you asked me about natural disasters. I would like to answer your questions. Well, in my
opinion, the most horrible disaster is tsunami, because it can destroy whole city. In the place where I live
not so often, but hurricanes happen. Sometimes the wind becomes so strong that trees may fall and wires
may break. As for your next question, during a hurricane, it is not safe to be near on the street, so people
should hide in their homes.
By the way, tell me more about your history teacher. What’s her name? How old is she? Has she been a
teacher for a long time?
That’s all for now. Write back soon.
Best wishes,
Beth
