13 Read the text about Robin and where he lives. Decide whether the sentences (1–5) are true (T ) or f alse (F).
An example (0) has been done f or you.

My Neighbourhood

I’m Robin and I want to tell you about the place where I live, my neighbourhood. Like all places it has good and bad
points. For me there aren’t many bad points though. I live alone so I enjoy noisy places with bars and cafes that I can
walk to. I don’t want to be a bus ride from everything. My friends all come to this area in the evenings so it’s easy to
meet them. We can go to festivals, comedy evenings or the theatre. And you can eat food from all over the world –
there are so many restaurants that I don’t have to cook very often. When I was a child, I lived in a small village so I
think this is why I love it so much here. When I want to relax and find some quiet space to think, there is the park. I have
two dogs so this is a fantastic place to walk them. I often sit in the café in the middle and just people-watch. T here’s
always a lot of people roller skating or jogging.

I guess the negative point is that my flat is not so big and the area isn’t cheap. Most of my salary goes on the rent to
live here. But, for me, anywhere else would be boring. I don’t want to sit at home and have nothing to do. Well, not at
my age anyway.

0 T here are no bad things about where Robin lives. T / F

1 Everything Robin needs is near his apartment. T / F

2 Robin always eats at home before going out. T / F

3 People often do sport in the park Robin goes to. T / F

4 Robin spends most of his money on going out. T / F

5 Robin would like to live somewhere else soon. T / F
