TOPIC

“Although the pain of lost love stayed in his heart forever,

Salvatore did not allow it to sour his married life.” In the light
of this statement discuss the married life of Salvatore and
Assunta.

GUIDELINES

1. Salvatore loved the girl from the Grande Marina

passionately.
2. They were affianced, but could not marry till Salvatore
had done his military service.
3. Returned from the Naval service due to his sickness.
The girl refused to marry because of his disease.
4. Acutely pained, he wept on his mother’s bosom.
5. Married Assunta who gave him mental and moral
support.
6. Assunta hated the girl who had deserted Salvatore, but
he never spoke a harsh word against her or blamed her.
7. Lived happily- had two sons- was a loving husband and
caring father.
8. A man with the quality of “goodness” which is the rarest
and the loveliest that anyone can have.

stencil in black on the top of the project cover.
12. On the right side bottom of the cover, paste the
school label and fill your personal details.
