silk worms

strong.they can be used to make fabric. silk worm cocoons provide shelter for silk
worms
as they transform in to moths and they also help to keep silk worms warm.

termites

there dwellings are called termite mounds.they are made of soil,saliva


and other organic matter.these can be quite large.this provide shelter for
termites from predators and also provide a place for termites to store food
and raise their young.these are often found warm,humid climates.they are typically

they live in colonies and their shelter is called hive.hives are made of wax
and are usually attach to a tree and they often contain thousand of bees.
the beehive is devided into several chambers.the brood chamber is where queen
bee lays her eggs and where the larvae develops.the honey chamber is where the
bee store honey which is their food source.the pollen chamber is where the bees
store pollen which os used to feed the larvae and the queen bee.

spider web is a structure created by a spider by proteinaceous spider silk


extruded from its spinnerets.this serves as a trap for prey as well as a
place of shelter for the spider.shape and the size of this varies according to the
species of spider that build it.

they can build a variety of dwellings,depending on the species.some wasps


build nests in the ground while others build nests in trees etc.they can be
made of variety of materials including mud,paper and wood.
1)paper wasps
build their nests in a variety of places including trees,bushes and even under
eaves. their nests are made of paper like material that they chew from wood pulp.
2)mud daubers
build nests out of mud.and they are often found on the sides of buildings,rocks
etc.
3)hornets
their nests are larger than paper wasps nests and can be found in trees,bushes
or even in the ground .
