sentences given using prepositions.

Today is my birthday! I was born in 2010, on the 7th of July, at 2


o’clock in the morning! On my birthday I open my presents at
breakfast time. In July we always visit my grandparents and on
the last day at midnight my dad lights some fireworks outside –
very carefully of course!

Choose the right preposition of time.


Arun: What are you doing on / in Saturday?

Omkar: I am going to the countryside on / at the weekend.

Arun: I haven't been to the countryside since December. What time are you
leaving?

Omkar: I am leaving in / at the afternoon. On/ At three o'clock. I am coming


back on / in Sunday evening. I'll catch the half past seven train in /on
Sunday. I'll be here at / in nine o'clock.

Arun: Oh! That’s the whole weekend. I'll miss you!
