The PS ONE is designed for the use with devices with "native" Ethernet interface. This system management offers the opportunity
to configure numerous peripherals such as automatic pay stations, entry and exit units, entrances for permit holders, pedestrian
readers and manned pay stations.
Realisation of a pay-to-park system must account for specific features in order to achieve maximum usability and safety of use.
For example:
- consider all spaces and radii of vehicle manoeuvre. The entrance must comprise a space to station the vehicle in a convenient
manner for taking a ticket. We recommend a minimum distance of 2.8 m between the entrance unit and the barrier;
- Provide for pedestrian transit lanes clearly marked by vertical and horizontal signs to prevent accidents and make pedestrian
entrances and exits fast and orderly.
- Always evaluate the morphology of the site (e.g. gradients, areas with poor visibility, moving parts), to avoid collisions, dangerous
manoeuvres or danger to people. If necessary report potential risks with stripes, signs, mirrors, photocells and sensors.
Caution! Ensure that the protective devices against overcurrent, short circuits and earth faults in primary circuits, are
installed and properly sized upstream of the system considered here.

GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation must be carried out by expert qualified personnel and in full compliance with the regulations in force.
Important! Using original CAME control and safety devices and accessories ensures easy installation and system maintenance.
Preliminary checks
Before installation:
• make sure the plate is anchored to a solid spot;
• make sure you have set up a suitable dual pole cut-off device along the power supply that is compliant with the installation rules. It should
completely cut off the power supply according to category III surcharge conditions (that is, with minimum contact openings of 3 mm);
• make sure that any connections inside the case (that provide continuance to the protective circuit) are fitted with extra insulation as compared
to the other conductive parts inside;
• set up suitable tubes and conduits for the electric cables to pass through, making sure they are protected from any mechanical damage.

If cable lengths differ from those specified in the table, establish the cable sections depending on the actual power draw of the connected
devices and according to the provisions of regulation CEI EN 60204-1.
For connections that require several, sequential loads, the sizes given in the table must be re-evaluated based on actual power draw and
distances. When connecting products that are not specified in this manual, please refer to the documentation provided with those products.
INSTALLATION
The following illustrations are examples. The space for fastening the barrier and accessories varies depending on where it is installed. It is up
to the installer to find the most suitable solution.
Caution! Use hoisting equipment to transport and position the barrier.
During set-up and installation, the barrier could be unstable and tip over. Be careful and do not lean on it until it is fully fastened.
Preparing the fastening plate
If the flooring does not provide a sturdy surface to fasten the cabinet to, use a cement slab.
Dig a hole for the foundation frame.
Prepare the corrugated tubes needed for making the connections coming out of the junction pit.
The number of tubes depends on the type of system and the accessories you are going to fit.

DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL
☞CAME S.p.A. implements an EN ISO 14001 certified and compliant Environmental Management System at
its plants, to ensure environmental protection. Please continue our efforts to protect the environment, something
that CAME considers to be one of the foundations in developing its business and market strategies, simply by
observing brief recommendations as regards disposal:
DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING
Packaging components (cardboard, plastic etc.) can be disposed of together with normal household waste
without any difficulty, by simply separating the different types of waste and recycling them. Before proceeding, it
is always advisable to check specific regulations in force in the place of installation.
DISPOSE OF PROPERLY!
DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT
Our products are made with different materials. Most of them (aluminium, plastic, iron, electrical cables) can
be disposed of together with normal household waste. They can be recycled if collected, sorted and sent to
authorised centres. Other components (control boards, transmitter batteries etc.) on the other hand, may contain
pollutants. They should therefore be removed and handed over to companies authorised to recover and recycle
them. Before proceeding, it is always advisable to check specific regulations in force in the place of disposal.
DISPOSE OF PROPERLY!

CAME S.p.A.
Corporate Headquarters – Treviso
The Came range of PS One Equipment is the latest solution offering in the field of parking systems.
It has been developed combining the use of modern Italian design together with the latest
technology in co-ordination with CAME’s in-house R&D team involved in product design and
development.
The system being an IP based solution is highly scalable and does not have limitations in the
number of machines that can be used on a single project. Thus, the parking systems can be used
for a small parking lot (1 entry / 1 exit) and can be used for complex parking projects like that of
stadiums, airports and parking projects that can be implemented on a citywide scale like parking
spaces of the city managed by local governments, municipalities, city councils etc.
The PS One system is based on the barcode based technology using thermal print technology
which has several advantages over magnetic strip cards and chip coins. A few of them are listed
below:-
Sample of ticket
System Architecture:-
The whole architecture of the system is based on the web based (TCP/IP) architecture which
enables seamless integration with other systems such as access control, fire alarm, intercom,
ANPR, Long range RFID among others.
Generic Layout for Entry / Exit lanes :
System components considered for the project :-
A. Entry Ticketing terminals - Barcode based
The Each Entry units are equipped with the following features:-
C. Payment Options:-
Manual Cashier system: - Manual cashier terminal can be used as an alternative means to
accepting payments and comes equipped with a 9.7 inch touchscreen monitor and built in
receipt printer. These can be mounted at manned exit booths where payments are handled
by a manual cashier attendent.
D. Server:-
The Server is the main hub of the system which stores all data and configuration details
including the licenses. The High Power server can handle many machines and is expandable.
There is no annual license fee for the server. Since the whole system is based on the TCP / IP
architecture there is no limit to the number of machines that you will require here.
Key Features:
• Web based
• For completely configuring the parking facility
• For managing occasional parkers
• For managing registered parkers
• For managing custom tariffs
• For managing web bookings
• For managing event vouchers
• For managing discounts
• For managing warnings and alarms via email or sms
• For managing historical data of all events and payments
• For creating statistics on transactions and payments
• For managing different zones within the same parking area
• For managing multi-level parking
CONCEPT OF PARKING OPERATIONS
The parking system is a fully automatic based system and designed to have minimum human
intervention.
Since the project is a Mixed Use Development we will be offering a fully integrated system
comprising of Ticketing Applications for QARYAT AL HIDD Visitor.
The barriers and parking applications are all manufactured and supplied by CAME as a single source
specialist supplier.
The Parking management (Ticketing system) will be located at the adjacent Parking Entry/Exit points.
The Manual Pay Stations are located inside the building adjacent to exit doors. the parking tariffs will
be decided or confirmed by the owner / operator of the development management.
4 No of Manual cashier terminals have been included. This machine serves as a means of manual
validation and will need to have a car park attendant / manual cashier operating the device. Likewise,
visitors who want to pay will have to visit the Manual cashier to pay for these tickets.
BARRIER:-
The Gard4 series barrier is specific for passage widths of up to 3.75 m (12.3 ft). Soft edges and
rounded corners make for a solution that fits perfectly in various installation settings. G4040E is a
special edition barrier with Encoder based
Technology to assure an everlasting perfect
working. Systems running at 24 Volts are super
safe to use and very reliable under intense
working conditions, such as those found at
residential apartment complexes and
industrial facilities. Moreover, 24 Volt systems
work even during power outages, thanks to
the optional batteries.
TOTAL CONTROL
G4040E model is available with built-in control panel. The electronics feature encoder technology
for controlling the boom and detecting any obstructions. A quick self-diagnosis of the safety
devices is performed
before the operator even starts to move, thus boosting and improving its standard control and
safety features.
As per the civil defense requirements, all the barriers under the CAME range comes equipped with
the necessary inputs for direct connections with the Fire Alarm system. Thus, in the event of a fire
the firm alarm/BMS system sends a dry contact output to our barriers and the barriers
automatically open to allow for free exit.
Key functionalities
• The system does support both English as well as Arabic language functionality and displays
both the languages on the Entry machines at all times.
• Ticketing system is based on fan fold paper based barcode ticket technology.
• System is based on TCP / IP and should be able to be easily programmed and controlled from
each of the local control rooms or main security control rooms without the need for
manual intervention.
• The software supplied as part of the parking system is the full version which is free for life
and does not call for the need to renew / buy additional licenses. In the event of future
expansion / upgrade of the system in future, it should be done so only by means of add-on
hardware without the need of purchasing additional software.
• Ticketing System, access control system and Gate barriers are fully integrated based on TCP/
IP technology and controlled from 1 single source software and from 1 manufacturer.
• Parking fees are to be validated /paid at the exit Manual Cashier prior to exit
• The system is fully integrated with the Fire Alarm system for the barriers to open
automatically in case of fire by dry contacts.
• Training on system operations and use including first level of maintenance is to be provided
to the operators
• Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of equipment is to be done for by the specialist
parking contractor and confirmed by the manufacturer having a local representative office
based in Dubai.
