Wandana : Hi, Mrs.Tiara. What are you doing?


Tiara : Oh, I'm currently thinking about the product design that we will launching.
Wandana : Is there anything I can help you?
Tiara : Not too difficult. But I need opinions from fellow Suntech Company. Can
you help me to inform the others?
Wandana : Ok, I will immediately tell the other colleagues. Wait a minute, Mrs. Tiara.
Wandana : *Calls other colleagues*
Mrs. Elif, please inform the colleagues in room 2C immediately to attend
the meeting that will be held today. I'm waiting in Room Zoom using the Zoom Link
provided by the office.
Elif : Okay Mrs Wandana, I will tell you right away.

Tiara : Hello. Good (morning/afternoon) everyone. Sorry to contact colleagues in


a sudden situation. I hope we are all in good health and can follow this meeting until the
end. Can we start right away?
Aqila : Ok, please start now.
Nurul : Thank you for the time that has been given. Introduce my name Nurul
Salsa Billa as Board of Directors, I will explain about the product design of the product
that we will launch. Our product consists of a laptop that is equipped with printer
facilities. You can see on the slide that has been displayed on your laptop screen. The
laptop has a Printer facility which is under the laptop's motherboard, so we can easily use
the Printer facility where the output will come out right under the motherboard. We
named this product L-Print. Which this product has a Type, namely L-Print String C2021.
This product comes from Brand Suntech.Id. From this design, what do you think? Is there
anything that, according to colleagues, needs to be revised again from the design that we
have designed?
Putri Hary : In my opinion, the model is good and doesn't need to be revised anymore.
Tiara : In my opinion, the overall design is very good.
Elif : All right. Next, we will discuss the raw materials needed and the costs we
will incur to produce the L-Print product. First, as a new company, we will supply spare
parts and raw materials from our previous companies, Asus and Canon. We will get
laptop technology from Asus and Printers from Canon. In addition, we intend to
cooperate with other companies such as Acer and Epson to fulfill raw materials that have
quality deficiencies in Asus and Canon companies. Which will make the performance and
quality of this L-Print product very good. The raw materials that we will use are raw
materials that have the best and most current quality, which will make our products the
newest products. For example, we use the CORE I7-10750H Processor. The hard drive
already uses a 256 GB SSD so that the laptop's performance will be faster. And already
using Windows 10.
Wandana : You can see on the next slide about the costs that we will incur to produce
the L-Print product. The first is the Production Cost part of Rp5,200,000. In the section
on Administration and General Cost Needed Rp100,000. In the Selling / Promotion
section, the amount is Rp1,000,000. So, the Cost Per Unit is Rp6,300,000. With the hope
of getting a profit of 123%. Thus, for one product, we want a selling price of
Rp14,049,000.
Aqila : For its implementation, we use Skimming Strategy. We set the price up to
123% which is taken from the cost of goods sold, I know it will be quite risky but still
worth it compared to the quality of the products we launch. With great hope, hopefully
these products can be in demand by many people.
Putry Hary : Sorry, I have permission to ask. How is the implementation of the
Skimming Strategy?
Aqila : Thank you for the question. Well, then I will explain about the
implementation of the Skimming Strategy. For the first price at product launch, we
determine the highest price at the start of the product launch in the first 3 months. Then,
for the following months the price will be lowered gradually so that we still have a profit
in every unit of product we sell. This product is a product with a new innovation because
other companies have not created the same product as our company, so hopefully this
product can be sold in the future.
Putri Hary : Wow, that's a very interesting idea. Hopefully the implementation of this
Skimming Strategy can help us in selling these products.
Nurul : Sorry, permission to refute. Does our company give discounts to customers
so that the product has a lot of interest at the time of its launch?
Elif : I think that's a very good idea. Your suggestions are well received.
Aqila : How about when the product is launched, do we give a big discount of
50% for an interval of 30 minutes for 200 products?
Putri Hary : Wow, your suggestions are very good to increase customer enthusiasm.
Nurul : I have another suggestion for the next discount. How about we give a
discount of 15% for one month?
Aqila : You can also give ideas. Do we need to give a discount when a customer
buys our product through a marketplace that we collaborate with?
Putri Hary : If we give a discount of 25%, what do you think?
Tiara : I think it's enough to satisfy the customer. We just apply the discounted
price to attract the attention of customers.
Elif : Now, we move on to the next discussion, which is about the Element of
The Quality of our product.
The quality of our product would depend on the:
a) Raw of the materials,
b) The specification of the product and
c) Design of the product
d) Reliability of the product.
Nurul : Of the 9 elements, we use 3 elements, which are as follows:
1. Quality is the first
According to Kotler and Armstrong (2008) the meaning of product quality is "the
ability of a product to perform its functions, it includes the product's overall durability,
reliability, precision, ease of operation and repair, and other valued attributes". Our
company prioritizes quality, which is the most important component because everyone
when buying a product will first see the quality of the product.
Elif : 2. Quality is our most important product
Product quality is important because it affects the success of the
company and helps establish its reputation in customer markets. Product
quality also matters to the customers who depend on a company's
attention to detail and customer demand.
Nurul : 3. Quality is the center of the customer
A quality product creates unshakeable customer loyalty that generates
increased leads. When customers find a product they trust, they return,
make repeat purchases, and recommend the product or service to others.

Elif : Thank you. Next we will discuss about Marketing Strategy.
Our marketing targets are focused on employees, students and educators.
However, we do not limit our target market so that all those who need
these advanced technological tools can use the product and benefit from
the products we have created.
Aqila : Then, we apply the Marketing Strategy proposed by Kotler, namely:
The first is Collaboration. With this collaboration, our company can offer more value to
customers and of course be more competitive. With this collaboration, it is hoped that it
can promote wider promotions so that the products we will launch can be known
throughout.
Nurul : Second is Commercialization. This process is two-way in which there is an
exchange of ideas between companies and customers. Therefore, our company hopes to
always attach great importance to customer satisfaction and improve the company's
image.
Elif : And the last is Character. Character is "the true self". While the brand is
"the cover." Nowadays, brand without character is nothing. Thus, our company will
continue to improve the character and quality of the company so that it will build
relationships and improve the company's image to produce quality products.
Tiara : What do you think about the Marketing Strategy that we apply? Is there
any objection to this?
Putri Hary : In my opinion, the Marketing Strategy does not need to be revised again
because the idea you have put forward is quite clear.
Wandana : I think the idea is very good and I hope the idea can be successful for us in
selling the product.
Nurul : Next, we will discuss the promotions that we will promote. We will do
promotions at all points of product distribution, namely by doing advertisements on
television. On social media such as Instagram, You Tube, and Facebook. Through
brochures and newspapers. Then, we also do promotions on Billboards that are around the
streets.
Aqila : For promotion on Television, You Tube and Facebook, we use the

doing endorsements to several well-known artists as Brand Ambassadors of our products?
Aqila : If you want to use a Brand Ambassador, who is the appropriate artist to
advertise our product?
Nurul : In my opinion, the artists who deserve to advertise our products are Raisa
and Reza Rahardian. Their nature in acting is very good and professional.
Tiara : Very interesting idea. Hmm how about the right time when we advertise it
on television?
Wandana : According to the survey, people watch television at 07.00 PM. So, it would
be nice if we held advertisements on television at that time.
Aqila : Then, for advertisements on You Tube, Instagram and Facebook, do we do
it a few days before the product is launched?
Tiara : It would be nice if we held a promotion on the seventh day before the
product was launched.
Putri Hary : Okay. Now I want to ask about the distribution of the brochure. When and
where do we distribute it?
Nurul : For the distribution of brochures, we will do the same as advertising on
social media. We will distribute the brochures in all corners of the product distribution
site, namely by distributing the brochures to passers-by in the downtown area.
Elif : It would be nice if the distribution points were added, namely in Malls in
the city where it was spread.
