Tips and Gratuities distribution policy

I. OBJECTIVES

The company believes that, good service cannot be delivered without the help of other staff members.
It is the policy of the company to outline our tip sharing practices.
Tip is defined as a gift or gratitude of guest, customers for providing quality of service and more of our staff and
employees.

II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

The following terms in the foregoing policy are discussed for common interpretations:

TIP – Any gratuitous, voluntary payment made by a customer to an employee. This includes cash tips, credit or
debit card tips.
TIP SHARING – all collected tips to be equally distributed.
EQUALLY DISTRIBUTED – evenly distributed to front- and back- of house teams.

III. SCOPE

This policy covers all employees including project based and excluded on-call employees.

IV. GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES:

1. All employees are required to report / disclose their tips (cash and non- cash) to the duty supervisor / manager
on a daily basis.
2. Weekly collected tips must be reported to Sir Dave for monitoring purposes.
3. All collected tips in a week (Monday to Saturday) are then distributed among all employees every Sunday.
Sample computation:

Php 5,000 = Tips collected from January 4 to 8, 2021 (Monday to Saturday)


Existing employees = 8
Php 5,000 / 8 = Php 625.00 / each employees. Release on Sunday January 9, 2020.

4. Employees, who violated with this policy shall be subject to disciplinary action set by the company code of
conduct.
5. The company reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, this policy and its contents.
