Process of Assignment 2 work - discussion & production

Our group chose AutoCAD to complete assignment 2 because it allows us to draw

quickly and save time. Other way, it is easier for remember commands. There is also teaching in
class and own copyright in Malaysia.

We divide case study drawing with each group member and follow the procedure:

1. Set basic layer for easy to distinguish

2. Insert the case study image

3. Start and follow image to draw case study

4. Setting the Line weight

5. Hatch the wall

6. Use plot to pdf

Self-reflection (Chew Wei Keong_21WVR03118)

In my opinion, AutoCAD is a constant source of wonder and appreciation. This software

has an incredible ability to transform concepts into tangible results, making tasks easier and
inspiring innovation in various areas. Its significance cannot be overstated, as it enables
professionals to create, collaborate, and redefine possibilities. AutoCAD goes beyond being just
a tool; it's a catalyst for transformation, pushing the boundaries of design and engineering. Its
impact will undoubtedly continue shaping our world ahead.

My team is highly motivated to meet deadlines. The first week we drop the advanced
cadd class because advanced cadd catch the design studio time but our progress remains on par
with others, and we are submitting assignments without any delays. I am proud and pleased with
how smoothly the mission has gone.

To make improvements, consider using AutoCAD to learn how to sketch curves, create
circuits, and design 3D models.
When faced with the challenge of designing a complex building, using manual drawings
could take up a lot of time and effort. Creating exact floor plans, section drawings, and elevations
might require multiple revisions and adjustments, which can lead to mistakes and inaccurate
designs.

On the other hand, employing computer-aided design (CAD) tools like Autocad can
streamline the process. Autocad allows for quicker creation and modification of drawings. It
provides precise drawing tools that help generate accurate graphics effortlessly. You can use
preset shapes or customize them to fit your needs. Moreover, Autocad supports features like
managing layers and adding dimensions, which makes organizing and editing drawings easier. If
changes are needed in the design, they can be made directly on the computer without starting
from scratch.

In summary, for efficient and accurate results in complex design tasks, using Autocad
instead of manual drawing is a more practical and beneficial choice.
