Job Title Communication Strategist [Part-time/Consultant]

Context ASSIST Creativelab is looking for an experienced Communication Strategist
with a deep understanding of Africa’s diverse demographics, cultures, and
communication landscape to provide content in facilitating a workshop and
developing communication materials.
Job Description ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communication
strategies that address the unique needs and aspirations of diverse
African demographics.
● Craft compelling and culturally sensitive messaging that resonates with
target audiences.
● Tailor messages to specific regions, languages, and cultural nuances to
maximize impact and engagement.
● Develop a variety of content types about SRH, public health, youth or
human rights that reflect the diversity of African cultures and
demographics.
Qualifications ● Degree or diploma in Communication Arts, Mass Communication,
Marketing, Development Communication, Organizational
Communication, or any related fields
● Creative in ideating campaigns and unique marketing concepts and
content
● Strong writing and communication skills in English
● Has experience in communication strategy development, with a specific
focus on African demographics.
● Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
● Excels in a fast-paced environment and applies critical thinking to
regular operations
● Open-minded and enthusiastic to engage with both internal and external
stakeholders
● Able to work and coordinate with project teams remotely
