Summary
The options allowed are based on the IATA ‘Resolution 606’ specification.
Description
The existing AWB Barcode Label can be printed by accessing the Consol Documents Menu
AWB > Barcode Label.
A registry item now exists to customize this document. See Admin > System > Registry then
Freight > AWB > AWB Barcode Label Customization

Using this registry option users can select one of the optional information custom designs on
the label, select fields and their descriptions that will be displayed in the optional information
fields, and customize the secondary barcode.
Design
The default design is as per the standard ediEnterprise design for AWB Barcode Label. A
number of additional flexible designs have been provided to cater for the most commonly
used layouts.
Fields
Optional information fields can be selected from the predefined list consisting of fields as per
the IATA 606 specification.
Descriptions
After selecting an optional information field, a default description will be set, but can be
changed by the user. For example on selecting Destination, the user can enter DST.

Secondary Barcode
The secondary barcode can be customized to contain information as per the IATA 606
specification.
Again, the default registry item is as per the current ediEnterprise AWB Label.
