After I read both, please tell me which one you agree with more…ROTATE
The Biden Administration and other Democrats say that these holds are hurting military readiness because
key positions, including the Commandant of the Marine Corps, are going unfilled, forcing some senior
officers to do two jobs. The holds are also affecting military families, many of whom have already prepared to
move to new postings but are in limbo because they must stay at their previous home until the promotion
passes the Senate.
…while…
Senator Tuberville says that the Pentagon using taxpayer dollars to pay for women in the military to cross
state lines to get abortions violates federal law and that the promotions would go through if the Biden
Administration would just obey the laws that Congress passed. He also says that he will release the holds if
Congress votes on a change to the law to make the Defense Department policy legal, but he won’t let the
Biden Administration get away with ignoring the current law.
IF Q9:2, ASK:
10. Why would you say you support Senator Tuberville more on this issue?
11. Now that you have heard some more, thinking ahead to the next election for U.S. Senate in Alabama, if the
