Door Speakers: 6 ½” 4-Hole Pin Cushion speaker mounted in a factory speaker adapter

WHEN INSTALLING AN AFTERMARKET 6 ½” SPEAKER, AN ADAPTER IS REQUIRED. WE RECOMMEND THE SCOSCHE SS65 SPEAKER ADAPTER.

REAR SPEAKERS:

Door Speakers: 6 ½” 4-Hole Pin Cushion speaker mounted directly to metal.

WHEN INSTALLING AN AFTERMARKET 6 ½” SPEAKER, NO ADAPTER IS REQUIRED.

WIRE COLOR CODES:

+12V Constant = Red

+12V Accessory Switched = Yellow
-12V Chassis Ground = Black
+12V Illumination = Green/Red
+12V Dimmer = Black/Orange
Power Antenna = None
Amp Remote = None
LF+ = Orange
LF- = Brown
RF+ = Blue
RF- = Green
LR+ = Yellow
LR- = Black
RR+ = White
RR- = Green

PRELIMINARY: Disconnect the negative battery cable.

ANTENNA: The factory antenna is located in the left rear

window.

RADIO REMOVAL AND IN-DASH INSTALLATION:

Note: The factory radio provision is for a DIN sized radio
and a factory pocket. We recommend the use of
Scosche HY1600 mounting kit

1. Remove ash tray and extract (2) Philips screws, pull off
bottom dash bezel, disconnect and remove.
2. Extract (2) Phillips head screws along top of radio bezel,
carefully unsnap dash bezel, disconnect and remove.
3. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing radio, disconnect
and remove.

FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION:

Note:The factory speaker provision is for a 6-1/2" 4-Hole
Pin-Cushion speaker mounted to a factory speaker
adapter.

1. Remove screw cover cap on door opener cup, extract (1)

Phillips head screw from behind and remove door cup trim
bezel.
2. Extract (1) Philips screw from door cup.
3. Remove screw cover caps, and extract (3) Philips screws
from outer perimeter of door panel.
4. Remove door triagle, disconeect tweeter and pull away.
5. Pull door panel out and up, disconnect and remove.
6. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing speaker, lift away,
disconnect and remove.

REAR SPEAKER INSTALLATION:

Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6-1/2" Pin-
Cushion speaker mounted directly to metal.

1. Remove carpet, compartment covers, and center

compartment.
2. Extract (2) Philips screws, and remove rear door sill plate.
3. Extract (3) 10mm tie down bolts and (3) 12mm tie down
bolts from floor.
4. Pull back weatherstripping, and pry out side panels using a
Panel Removal Tool, disconnect and remove panel.
5. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing speaker, lift away,
disconnect and remove.
