The skid has an inlet connection of size 6” X 600 and outlet connection of size 6” X 300# The design temperature of skid is: -29 to 65 °C upto regulator and ~46 to 65°C from regulator. 2. CONTROL PHILOSOPHY: System consists of two flow lines ~ Main flow line & low flow line. User can select flow line using inlet, outlet isolation vales, The package comprises of below mentioned section 41 Natural Gas Filtration 4.2 Natural Gas Metering for Main & low flow line. 4.3 Natural Gas Pressure Reduction for Main & low flow line. 44 LEL Gas detection system. 4.5 Metering control panel & HMI 4.1 NATURAL GAS FILTRATION: counelge few 1. The filtration skid comprises of two streams of natural gas filter-separators, CF-101 & CF-102, installed horizontally, Each stream is designed for maximum design flow of package at minimum operating pressure & maximum temperature. Aa time one stream is working, and the other stream is kept standby using inlet and outlet line isolation valves. 2. The filtration efficiency is 231 micron (100% of all solid particles & larger) 3. Ithas an inlet and outlet nozzle connection of 6” x 600%. 4. As the gas gets into the filter, the velocity decreases and the heavy entrainments drop out of the gas stream. The gas then flows through the filter elements and enters from outside to inside of cartridge element, Here the Micronies particles are trapped in the fibers and retained; clean gas then flows through the inner perforated metal liner (core) to the filter outlet. 5. Necessary instrumentation has been provided on filters for carrying out complete filtration ‘operation. They are as follows. a) Pressure gauge PG-10 & PG-102 are provided for local gas pressure indication on filter vessel. b) Level gauge LG-101 & LG-102 are provided on filter for local level indication of hydrocarbon condensate liquid collected in filter ©) @peratoris expected to. observe liquid-levelregetarty. If the liquid level indicated in the gauge, crosses the gauge glass midpoint, slowly open the manual drain ball valve of filter and allow the liquid to drain into the condensate pit. Close the drain valve again. d) Differential pressure transmitter DPT-101, DPT-102 are provided across filters for local differential pressure indication and signal transmission to Metering panel of skid. The PSV is designed to relieve excess pressure into atmosphere during external fire hazard condition. The PSV is set at 98 Barg, 6. CONTROL PHILOSOPHY FOR MAIN FLOW LINE 4.2 PRMS FOR MAIN FLOW LINE (0.008 to 0.624 MMSCMD): 4.2.1 FLOW METERING SYSTEM WORKING (USM METER): 1. Both ultrasonic flow meters of skid ie, USM-101 & USM-102 are providing pulse signals to flow computers FQI-101 & FQI-102 respectively. 2. Primary interface of flowmeter with flow computer shall be RS 485 and secondary interface shall be on pulse signal Hence, stream-A USM-101 shall be connected to FQI-101 on RS 485 and on pulse. Similarly, stream-B USM-102 shall be connected to FQI-102 on RS 485 and on pulse. 3. Each USM is having a port for Laptop connectivity. 4. The USM data can be checked in MEPAFLOW600 software installed in the provided Laptop. 5. Metering pressure & temperature signals of 1* stream USM 101 & 2» stream USM 102 are provided to dedicated flow computer FQI-101 & FQI-102 respectively. 6, All the main line isolation ball valve’s open & close position feedback are sent to Metering panel. 4.2.2 Check & Pay philosophy: The following Procedure is for USM based metering skid having Z-Configuration (for Meter Verification through CHECK & PAY configuration), 1. This scheme/ configuration are implemented in the HMI. 2. Stream-A shall be selected in “PAY” mode and Stream-B shall be selected in “CHECK” mode. 3. Both "PAY" and “CHECK” Flow computers (Stream-A and B) shall do fiscal metering separately/ independently and update data in the HMI. 4. In Flow computer all fiscal totals get incremented. 6, 9. 10. | Ni-22110167-512517 (eos ocp-101 SYST.NO. | 12517 pare _| 08/05/2023 = " [sweet [7ofi3 When the User decides to do meter verification and clicks the “CHECK & PAY” button from HMI Screen of metering, a “CHECK & PAY” detailed screen will appear showing Start status, Stop status, accumulated & error of streams A (PAY) and stream-B(Check), A “BEGIN CHECK & PAY” bution is present on above mentioned screen, Once this button is clicked, a pop-up will appear asking for confirmation for proceeding with Check & Pay process. Once given confirmation, valve alignment sequence starts. Valve alignment pop-up screens start to appear in sequence, as mentioned below. Below listed valve alignment pop-up screen sequence will not appear if the required /desired conditions of valve are already true. a. Open ball valve VBF-106. b. ball valve VBF-108. © Open ball valve VBF-109. d. Open ball valve VBF-110. e. Open ball valve VBF-ILL £ Close ball valve VBF-108. HMI screen also verifies the correct valve alignment by checking valve open / close feedbacks. After Valve alignment, a final confirmation is asked. Once confirmed, all the Start status values of Pay stream-A and Check stream-B comprising of uncorrected volume (UVOL), corrected volume (CVOL), Mass and Energy Totals, gets captured and will continue until STOP button is OPERATION AND CONTROL DOC. Once confirmed, all the STOP status values comprising of UVOL, CVOL, Mass and Energy Totals gets captured and accumulated values, actual error and % error are generated , thereby displaying accuracy indication of Meter under Test. At the same time, a “GENERATE REPORT” button on the same screen gets enabled for reporting activity. Once generate report button is pressed, reports get generated and an “OVERALL RESET” button get enabled. Once this button is pressed, a confirmation pop-up shall appear for user to confirm, Once contirmed, all the totalizers on HMI “Check & Pay” screen become Zero, After this, Valve re-alignment window appears , showing, a Check back to their desired position, as listed below: a. Open balll valve VBE-108, b. Close ball valves VBF-110 & VBF-111, Close ball valve VBF-109. The natural gas pressure reducing skid (PRS) comprises of pressure control valves (PCVA & PCVM) in Active-monitor configuration with lam shut-off valves (SSV), in twin stream design. The incoming pressure is reduced ASGred outlet set pressure as mentioned in below PRS set points table. 2. Slam shut-off valves are provided with over pressure shut-off (OPSO) and under pressure shut-off(UPSO) provisions to get trip accordingly in event of high pressure (OPSO) and low pressure (UPSO) in downstream line of active regulator. 3. Limit switches are provided on SSVs to provide their open & close feedback to Metering, panel. 4, Pressure gauge PG-105 is provided at common line of inlet of twin PRS. 5. Pressure gauges PG-106 & PG-107 are provided at outlet of SSV & Pressure gauge PG-108 is provided on common line for local indication 6. Pressure transmitter PT-103 is provided at outlet of PRS stream. 7. Flow control valves FCV-101 is provided at outlet of PRS in order to control the skid outlet flow. The flow control valve shall be controlling flow as per the set point entered in flow computer manually. 8. The inbuilt position transmitter of flow control valve ie. ZT-101 and limit switches FCV ZSH- 101 & FCV ZSL-101 are connected to flow computer FQI-101. ¢ 747-42 9. Condition 2: If case of failure of active regulator PCVA-101, the downstream pressure of PCVA-101 increases gradually. As soon as it reaches to set point of monitor regulator PCVM-101, monitor regulator starts regulating the skid outlet pressure at its set point, Condition 3: If case of momentary excess pressure in the downstream line, the creep relief valve CRV-101 relieves excess pressure, at its set point, directly into atmosphere. [2517 ‘ pare | 08/05/2023 font e ING SKID = PRESSURE REGULATING SI SHEET [100f13 ] NF-22110167-512517- 0cP.101 If case of failure of monitor regulator PCVM-101, downstream line pressure starts increasing, as soon as it reaches to over pressure shut-off (OPSO) set point of slam shut valve SSV-101, it activates and shuts-offs the line Condition 5(Automatic switching to standby stream): Due to tripping of main stream (stream-A), outlet pressure of skid starts falling. As the skid outlet pressure reaches to set point of standby stream (stream-B) active regulator PCVA-102, it starts regulating the skid outlet desired pressure at its set point. Condition 6: If case of failure of active regulator PCVA-102, downstream pressure of PCVA-102 increases gradually. As soon as it reaches to set point of monitor regulator PCVM-102, monitor regulator starts regulating the skid outlet pressure at its set point. Condition 7: If case of momentary excess pressure in the downstream line, the creep relief valve CRV-102 relieves excess pressure, at its set point, into ventheader: 4 a/magMere . Condition 8: If case of failure of monitor regulator PCVM-102, downstream line pressure starts increasing, as soon as it reaches to over pressure shut-off (OPSO) set point of slam shut valve SSV-102, it activates and shuts-ofis the line. Condition 9: Slam shut-off valve manual reset when tripped. 1, Before resetting of slam shut device, pressure across the valve shall be addressed. 2. Equalize the pressure by gradually opening the equalizing valve on slam shut valve body 3. After equalizing, close the equalizing valve then reset the slam shut off valve with reset handle given along with SSV. 4, For further pressure setting instructions, please refer Operation manual of pressure control valve & slam shut off valve (shall be part of final technical documents FTD). It consists of two nos of process streams, 2. Operation & set points of pressure reduction system is same as main flow line. After pressure reduction natural gas is passed through 2” X 300# ,-G### RPD meter. Flow of natural gas at metering is same as that of inlet of low flow line ie. 0.003 to 0.08 MMSCMD. 2. Flow computer FQI-103 & FQI-104 are provided with meter which shows metering pressure, metering temperature & corrected volume total and flow. 44 LEI GAS DETECTION SYSTEM: 1. 06 Nos. of Point type LEL gas detectors PGD-101 to PGD-106, 02 Nos of open path gas detector OPD-101, OPD-102 are provided for complete package Any fault release of gas or gas leakage from any joints, in atmosphere, will be detected & alarmed 3. The signals of gas detectors shall be received by LEL monitoring controller installed in metering control panel located in control room, which will be indicating LEL alarm levels, 4. LEL monitoring controller shows the gas leakage alarm levels, through LED indications provided per channel. 5. Keypad provision is provided in LEL monitoring controller for function settings checking, scrolling & alatm acknowledging activity. 6. All Alarms from LEL monitoring controller are available on HMI. 4,5 METERING CONTROL PANEL: 1. Panel comprises of flow computers FQI-101 to FQI-104, PLC, LEL monitoring controller, HMI with other panel accessories. All the field signals and their respective alarms shall be displayed on HMI 2. All the signals received on PLC & flow computers are sent to HMI for graphical user interface Signal selector switches 85-01 & SS-02 are provided on panel. FCV-101 shall be controlled by flow computer FQI-101 or FQI-102 & FCV 102 shall be controlled by flow computer FQI-103 or FQI-104 by using these switches. 5. Panel comprises of LED indications for power supply ON-OFF status. 6. Hooter provided on panel will activate in case of LEL alarms received from LEL detectors. 7.
