The cruelty of the Lebanese people

Mankind can be so cruel sometimes. There are a lot of cases where I witnessed the cruelty of Lebanese
people toward each other. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, people were collapsing
because of the virus. Yet, I rarely saw humans helping each other by at least calling the ambulance for
help, even when cases of infection were too advanced. To top it off, the infected were sometimes
offended. Another case is where the cruelty of the Lebanese toward nature is shown. For instance, the
piles of garbage caused by people after throwing their junk on the sides of the roads, in the woods, and
in the rivers, giving rise to the suffering of our environment. Finally, the cruelty of humans toward
animals. There were a lot of videos on social media of people tying up animals to the back of a car and
driving them around, so they either end up dead or full of scratches and unbearable scars. There has to
be a way to convince the Lebanese people to stop these cruel actions, and it has to be found.
