In the glove box, leftside, below a black lid,
Azure there is a round, 49 pin connector. Pin "x"
Bentley Mod.98 carries the signal. Red/yellow.
The speed pulse is in the kick panel at the
Mulsanne bottom of the "A" post, there is a multi pin
Bentley Turbo 1984 1984 connector. The colour is red/green. Red/green.
At the left rear light there is a black 6-pin
connector. Pin 1 carries the speedpulse
signal of the left wheel. Pin 2 carries the
BMW "7" Series speedpulse signal of the right wheel. Yellow/white..

Speed Related Volume Control (GAL)-
function pre installed by the manufacturer.
The radio is installed in the centre console or
in the boot at the passenger side near the
BMW "8" Series 1991 wheel housing. Black/white.

distribution box in the driver side kickwell
at the door post. The location of the black
connector with the speed pulse signal can

Caution: Never pull off a connector from the
instrument cluster or aircon module. The
engine wouldn't start again. May also be at

is +12V, one is ground, an the other one is
the speedpulse. To find the connector, you
have to remove the bottom cover of the

The instrument cluster is very easy to


access. With the use of a flat blade screw
driver in the access holes of the trim ring the
spring tab can be pushed in and the trim
panel will come out.

The Volvo-specific signal is at connector B,


pin 7.

CAN - Bus system.

the engineers left us the chance to get the
speed pulse...(originally the intention was
for taxis).

To remove the instrument cluster loosen the


steering wheel column.

Attention: There is more than one


yellow/black cable. Please look at the
connection place.
