STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION ::

I am Amritpal Singh. Currently I am living in Punjab, India. I have done my senior

secondary with Arts in the year of 2019 from PSEB board. But, now I am willing to enroll in
B.A (Hons) Business Management I am highly impressed with the growth of the business
industry and the prospects of careers development in the sector – a bachelor degree in
Business Management can prepare me for this.

I think, from the course, I will develop a critical capacity for understanding knowledge and
being able to act upon it, and I will develop the positive and proactive attitudes of
leadership and management that are necessary in the business industry. In fact this course
emphasizes the development and enhancement of transferable intellectual and study skills
that are highly relevant to contemporary business management careers in this booming
industry.

WHY B.A (HONS) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ::

There is no set rule to run a business. Different businesses require different skills and
knowledge. But often many successful businesses fail due to inefficient management
system. Business management can equip entrepreneurs, owners and managers with
essential business skills and knowledge.

It will help in developing proper channel of communication between employees. It allows

an individual to develop professional skills to deal with fast paced cooperate challenges
Another advantage of studying business management is that it exposes an individual to
different networking opportunities hence opening up new possibilities for partnerships
and mentoring. Thus via procuring a degree in Business management I can develops my
skills, build specialist knowledge within chosen area and to accelerate my career.

WHY CHOOSE UK FROM INDIA?

I believe that the education system in India is having age old system of operation and bare
minimum practical skills are taught to the students which in turn leaves a little scope for
the creativity and innovation at the later stages in professional life. I have become aware
that the offered educational conditions in India are far from satisfactory. I had the option to
do this program at India at a portion of the cost but I stayed away from this graph because
traditional teaching methodology and the prevailing academic ideology has escorted Indian
education out of place with the modern international development in education. I was
determined that I wanted the academic progression to shape up my career and this made
me explore options for myself. I found studying abroad the best option for me as I can
definitely get the maximum knowledge and exposure by studying at a country which is
having the advanced pattern of environment policies, technologies and framework to
follow.
Many international students are choosing to study abroad and I found studying abroad the
best option for me because of its laid-back nature, excellent education system, and high
standard of living. Then, after comparing those countries on various parameters like their
cost of education, cost of livelihood, climatic circumstances, elasticity of the admittance and
the visa criteria, I chose UK for my higher studies. In UK where I found that practical and
conceptual segments of the course being offered at various universities and are very
interesting. Studying in UK provides international values as well as multicultural
environment. The degrees are globally recognized & the country offers students with
advanced techniques. From last many years a steady number of international students are
going to undertake degrees at various UK universities. Moreover, it is a safe country as its
weather conditions will be suitable to me.

WHY UNIVERSITY OF ROEHAMPTON?

Here, I had to consider various parameters such as studying in urban setting, my course
and its realistic environment in the location, affordability etc. I shortlisted these
Universities like: University of Brighton, University of Northampton, University of
Sunderland and Kingston University London, University of Roehampton etc. In order to
finalize one my strategy was to first visit the course structures, affordability of the
education provider, recognition and lastly listing the opportunity which a location was to
offer I chose University of Roehampton. This univeristy made a real impact on me because
of the warm and friendly environment they offer and which is visible through their website
also. This is among well-known universities of UK and focus on excellent and advanced
learning. I was really impressed by the course structure of this university which was so
organized and placed as per my requirements. The range of the units at this university is
having a broad range from international education, cultural diversity, language education,
ICT and E-learning, curriculum studies and leadership.

BA(Hons) Business Management and Leadership degree provides me with an excellent

grounding in real business practice, developing the skills that need me to succeed as a
business professional either in the corporate setting or as an entrepreneur. Business

country, India and abroad, offering the opportunity of careers with rapid progression at
leadership and management level within the organizations or self-employed. The business
management is a worldwide industry, with many different working environments.

After completing my studies in BA (HONS) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT from UK I will come

back to India and will establish my career here with the most reputed organizations who
have been working efficiently in India.  On the other hand, business management provides
a wide range of job opportunities, including: Business adviser, Business analyst, Business
development manager, Account manager, financial analyst, Marketing manager and many
others.
Therefore, there would a whole range of career opportunities for me once I qualify with
this life-changing course that offers practical life-skills for the industry along with industry
related contemporary knowledge.
