1 INTRODUCTION

Nutritional disorder is a pathological state due to excess of one or more essential

nutrient. Clinically manifested or defected only biochemical antropometric or

physiological test. nutritional disorder which is also known as malnutrition is a

condition that result from eating a diet in which nutrient are either not enough or are

too much that the diet cause health problem (yong,2021) it may involve calories,

protein, carbohydrate, vitamin, minerals. not enough nutrient is called under

nutrient(yong,2012)

Malnutrition is often used specifically refer to under nutrition where there is not

enough calories, protein or before two years of age, it may result in permanent

problems with physical and mental development in a child when a child is exposed to

extreme under nourishment, known as starvation, this may have symptoms that

include a short height thin body very poor energy level, and swelling and abdomen in

child.

1.2 STATEMENT OF THE REASEARCH PROBLEM

Some of the other common childhood nutritional problems seen in the world include.

1.Delayed growth, underweight and overweight.

2.feeding delays, oral-motor problems or altered feeding interaction

3.inadequate or excessive diet quantity or quality.

4.if your appetite and taste have been affected by illness medication or other health

issue. you may have trouble eating and change can affect your overall health.
1.3 AIMS OF THE STUDY

1.To assess the nutritional status of a child under five years of age.

2.To educate the mother and make them children healthy choice.

3.to increased the energy level of children.

1.4 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

1. What are the most common nutritional problem of children under five years of age.

2. How the mothers prevent nutritional disorder to their children under five years of

age.

3. What are the nutritional problem child and their solution.

1.5 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Nutrition is important at every age. your children need proper nutrient stay healthy

and strong and grow up to healthy and strong. nutritional in children can also help

establish a foundation for healthy eating habit and nutritional knowledge that your

child can apply throughout life.

Nutrition is a critical part of the health and development. Better nutrition is related to

improved infant, child and maternal health, stronger immune system,

safer pregnancy and childbirth, lower risk of non-communicable disease (such as

diabetes and cardiovascular disease) and longetivety, healthy children learn better.

1.6 SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The nutritional status of an individual is usually the result of multiple factors which
interact with other in different proportional. Acknowledging the role of diet in the

onset of many disease, assessment of the nutritional status of an

individual/family/community is extreme public health importance. the nutritional

assement is done with an aim to obtain specific information about the prevalence and

geographic distribution of nutritional disorder in a given nutritionally vulnerable high

risk group and to assess the role of different epidemiological factors in the natural

history of the nutritional deficiency disorder to conclude, the comprehensive

nutritional assessment is an effective too to assess the prevalence of nutritional

disorder to plan corrective measured and simultaneously evaluate the effectiveness of

the implement strategies.

LIMITATION

1. Children that are under five years of age are very risk to get nutritional disorder.

2.Then toddlers (from 3 years to 12 years of age)

and some toddlers have nutritional problems that can have immediate and long term

effect on their health, growth, and development, food allergies, iron deficiency tooth

decay and constipation are common in the early years
