Copy folder Microsoft SQL Server ke “C:\Program Files (x86)”

2. Beri full access untuk user logged ke folder Microsoft SQL Server
3. Ubah compatibility ke XP SP2 dan Run as administrator pada:
a. SQLServer2000/x86/setup/setupsql.exe
b. SQL2000-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU/x86/setup/setupsql.exe
4. Install SQL Server 2000 di SQLServer2000/x86/setup/setupsql.exe
5. Bila ada pesan “A previous program installation created pending file operations on the installation
machine. You must restart the computer before running setup”
a. Buka Registry Editor
b. Cari HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
c. Cari dan hapus di Registry Editor window ”PendingFileRenameOperations”
6. Bila ada pesan gagal setup server
a. Install SQL Server 2000 SP4 di SQL2000-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU/x86/setup/setupsql.exe
b. Install ulang lagi di SQL Server 2000 di SQLServer2000/x86/setup/setupsql.exe
