a.

Introduction-
 During her speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman used the word
"Amrit-Kaal" seven times. The budget's overarching theme ran throughout
the entire document, which began with the words "I submit the Budget for
2023–24." This is Amrit Kaal's inaugural budget.

 The phrase literally means "the time of nector," which denotes a favourable
time for new beginnings. It is a crucial moment when the portals of
tremendous pleasure open for the gods, angels, and humans, according to
Vedic astrology. It is a widely held notion that beginning a work during
Amrit-Kaal will provide favourable outcomes; it is akin to "Ache Din."

b. The Objective-

 The budget for Amrit Kaal was created in difficult circumstances. The
globe has been significantly upended over the previous three years. High
inflationary pressures, high interest rates, low investment, and, more
recently, a wave of job cuts in technology-based industries have all been
detrimental to the world economy.
 The budget for this year is significant for two key reasons: first, it aims to
create the groundwork for the subsequent 25 years to assure consistency
and stability in development decisions; and second, it separates policy
priorities into seven interconnected yet comprehensive ‘Saptarishis’ (seven
sages).

c. Conclusion-
According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the first Union Budget of Amrit
Kaal, or the 25 years leading up to 2047, when Independent India turns 100, will
lay a solid foundation for a developed India and acknowledge the expectations of
an aspirational society that includes the poor, the middle class, and farmers.
