about this topic.
The first five years of my life were the best. I lived with my parents in an apartment on Avenue
13th in Manta. Every season of every year is worth remembering. In the summer, mom and I
would go across the street to Pacífico Mall, stand among the scores of people, and cheer for
dad, who ran in Manta Ironman every year.
When my dad ran, he had self-satisfaction in his eyes and perseverance in his heart and mind.
In the spring my dad and I would bike-ride through La Madre Park. Every minute I spent with
my parents was a wonderful adventure that was always exciting especially when celebrating
Christmas together.
