NEET 2023 Syllabus: The NEET UG syllabus consists of three major subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It is expected
that there would be no changes to the NEET curriculum 2023 as compared to the previous year's syllabus. The NEET syllabus
covers fundamental and advanced topics from Classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Answer: The syllabus of NEET 2023 is based on the syllabus of class 11 and class 12 for Physics, Chemistry, and
Biology.

Q2: Will I need to cover the syllabus of both 11 and 12 standard books for NEET 2023?
Answer: Yes. The NEET 2023 syllabus is based on Class 11 and 12 syllabus and candidates are advised to thoroughly go
through the syllabus for both classes and must focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to score NEET 2023 with good
marks.

Q3: Has NTA released a revised NEET syllabus for 2023?


Answer: The NTA did not release any revised syllabus of NEET 2023 as of now. If there are any updates, they will be
updated here on the page.

Q4: Which authority decides and specifies the NEET syllabus?


Answer: The National Medical Commission (NMC) is the authority responsible to decide on and specify the NEET
syllabus annually.

Q5: How many questions are there in the NEET exam?


Answer: NEET-UG exam consists of a total of 200, which are divided into two sections - Section A and Section B.
Students are given the choice to attempt 180 out of the total 200 questions.

Q6. Can a 12th pass-out candidate appear directly in the NEET examination?
A. Yes, you can appear for NEET if you have just passed out of class 12. You can even sit for the exam if you are appearing for
your 10+2 exam that year. The only thing to note here is that your level of preparation at this stage may not be at par with what
it takes to qualify for NEET. However, it is still a good idea to appear for the exam to experience what it is like. 

Q7. How can I qualify for NEET 2023?


A: To qualify for NEET 2023, you need to achieve a minimum score, also known as the cut-off score. This score is speciKed by
the NTA and announced on the odcial NEET website.

Q8. Which authority conducts NEET exam?


A: The National Testing Agency, (NTA) is the organising body for NEET and it is instrumental in conducting NEET smoothly
and fairly every year.

Q9. What is the fee structure for NEET 2023 for the general category?
A. The NEET 2023 exam fee for the general category is Rs 1700/- that can be submitted after Klling the application form. 

Q10. Can a student outside India sit for NEET 2023?


A: Yes. Students outside India can also sit for NEET 2023. The fee for such candidates will be Rs 9500/-.
