Task 1: Looking Beyond

Instruction: Watch the video entitled “The World in 2050: Future Technology” accessible at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa9aWdcCC4o uploaded February 2020. Answer the
following questions using the answer sheet that I provided

1. Do you think the video speaks of possibilities? Why or why not?

Yes, because our world is currently developing and high-tech, and the film speaks of its potential, such
as prosthetics, because for many individuals who had to have limbs amputated due to accidents at work or
other circumstances that may have ended their careers, being able to walk or use prostheses is a huge aid.
compatible with the human brain and body prosthetics.
2. Can you guess which of the things mentioned will be accessible by 2050?
I believe it would have been beneficial to have firefighters' uniforms that were entirely heat- and burst-
proof in 2050 so they could perform their duties without endangering their lives. Several individuals are
now working on it, as described in the video, both in terms of its multiple roles.
3. What thing do you personally want to have now and not later? Why?
I personally desire nanotechnology-infused clothing now rather than later because it will increase my
strength, durability, and other qualities.
4. As a future educator, how ready are you to embrace these changes?

Since education is a dynamic area that is continuously changing and the world is evolving right
now, I am prepared to embrace these changes as a future educator. Flexibility means being open
to change and prepared to investigate fresh methods of instruction that will better serve my
students' needs.
