Who’s eligible for the offer?
New and existing Royal Bank of Scotland Plc (‘Royal Bank’) customers who are eligible to open
a student account. This means you need to be at a UK university/college:
• Completing a full-time undergraduate course lasting at least two years; or
• Completing a full-time postgraduate course; or
• Training as a nurse; and
• Have spent more than three years in the UK.
You won’t be eligible for the offer if:
• You have received a student offer from Royal Bank at any time from 1st July 2020.
You must:
• O
 pen a new Royal Bank student account or change your existing current account to a Royal Bank
student account, via rbs.co.uk or on our mobile app, between 3rd July 2023 and 30th November 2023
or before this offer is withdrawn, amended or replaced.

What is the offer?

So long as you meet the conditions set out above, you’ll get £100 cash plus a tastecard which is valid for
4 years from the date your welcome email is sent to you.

What happens next?

Once your account is opened and if you meet all the conditions, we’ll:
• P
 ay £100 into your student account within 10 working days. Your student account must be open for us
to pay £100 to you. We will not pay £100 after the new student account is closed even if you’ve met all
required conditions; and
• S
 end you a tastecard redemption code to the email address you gave us at account opening
within 5 days.

Withdrawal of offer
• W
 e may withdraw, amend or replace this offer at any time without notice. If we withdraw the offer and
you have already applied for a new student account, you will still be entitled to receive this offer provided
that you have met the conditions set out in these terms.

What else do I need to know?

• Y
 ou can only benefit from this offer once, meaning that even if you apply, successfully open a student
account, and meet the conditions of this offer for more than one student account, you’ll only receive one
payment and one tastecard redemption code.
• Y
 ou’ll still be bound by your current account terms, which contain everything applicable to your student
account, including any regular criteria you need to meet to keep your account.
