II. Rationale
The WINS of J.V. Ferriols National High School shall conduct a Virtual Symposium
about Hygiene and Sanitation that will promote in enhancing proper hygiene of
Teachers, parents/guardians and students especially in this time of pandemic(COVID-
19). This activity is aligned to the partnership of Brigada Eskwela Work Plan 2021.
This Virtual Symposium will provide Hygiene and Sanitation Awareness to enhance
health practices for Teachers, Parents/Guardians and, students of J.V. Ferriols
National High School.
This activity will provide knowledge and health benefits without spending too much.
III. Objectives

This activity aims:

1) To encourage Teachers, Parents/Guardians and Students to enhance hygiene and

sanitation practices.
2) To enrich the knowledge of teachers, parents/guardians and students of the proper health
practices.
3) Participants to perform proper handwashing and toothbrushing via video.
4) To promote proper hygiene to prevent from COVID-19.

IV. Participants

Teacher, Parents/Guardians and Students of J.V. Ferriols National High School

V. Methodology
This activity shall be done via online. The Teachers, Parents/Guardians and Students of J.V.
Ferriols National High School will be given an online link for the attendance as proof of
participation. The participants will use a functional gadgets and a source of internet
connectivity for the activities during the said Virtual Symposium.
The discussion during the Virtual Symposium is all about Hygiene and Sanitation specifically
to discuss the steps of proper handwashing and toothbrushing.

Budgetary consideration:
Expected number of participants: 50
 Speaker with plaque 2
 Facilitator 5 (Certificates) (300 Pesos)

VII. Expected Outcome

The students of J.V. Ferriols National High School will be able to perform proper health
practices specifically proper handwashing and toothbrushing via video.

1. Provides supplemental knowledge about hygiene and sanitation.

2. Promotes proper handwashing and toothbrushing that will helps prevent from COVID-19.
