    The purpose of writing a descriptive text is
    to describe a particular object ( human or
    non human )
    Generic
    stucture
    There are two generic structures of
    descriptive writing

    Identification :
    — Identification is to introduce the person, place and the object

    Description :
    — Description is to give the details of the person, place and the object
    described
    LANGUANGE — Simple present tense

    FEATURE
    — Adjective : tall, beautiful,
    active
    — Action verbs : eat, live,
    grown
    — To be : is, am, are
    EXAMPLE

    Tigers are included in the largest cat species with a


    characteristic sound and stripes on their fur.
    Including wild animals, tigers should not be
    approached carelessly, including when in the zoo.

    In search of food, tigers usually hunt prey such as


    rabbits, deer, deer and others. Having the ability to
    run very fast makes it easy for tigers to chase their
    prey.
