Update 2024 – Changes to Reflect Industry Trends

Effective from 1st August 2024

As we all know, the syllabus of the CISA (Certified Information Systems

Auditor) exam has to be updated at least once every five years to align with
industry standards and best practices. The new change is set to come in 2024.

The Exam Content Outline (ECO) domains have been revised, as detailed below:

Analysis (Effective from 1st August 2024):

 Domain 1 and Domain 5: Both of these domains have seen a slight

reduction in weightage.
 Domain 2 and Domain 4: These domains have seen an increase, reflecting
a shift in emphasis towards governance, management, operations, and
resilience.
 Domain 3: This remains unchanged and continues to be the domain with
the lowest weightage, at 12%.

Updated Exam Prep Material:

The updated exam prep material will be available three months prior to the
exam, meaning from 1st May 2024 onwards the new books will be launched.
