Before we proceed to our lesson for today, I
will show you a picture. We begin by
comparing an apple and an orange. Pupils will
pass them around and make observations.
Now, what have you noticed to both fruits? Apple can be red, green and crunchy.

We are going to discuss this morning about

B. Activity
I will read first an information about modern-
day heroes. Please listen carefully. Then, you
will identify the similarities and differences of
the characters. I will give prize to those pupils

Living Heroes

John’s parents are his living heroes. Both his mother and father are teachers in their
place. His mother is an elementary teacher while his father is a high school teacher.
His father is a disciplinarian while his mother is more considerate. His father is serious
while his mother is humorous.
John considers his parents as heroes because both of them are caring, hardworking, and
loving not only to him but also to the other children in their community. They mold them to
become better persons in the future.
