INTRODUCTION:
Well i chose it because basically the lyrics convey too many things
to me, he expresses his feelings to a girl after having ruined their
relationship and tries to change, secondly i love the artista and i see
ir reflected in my life…

BACKGROUND:
The song The Scientist is so named because it alludes to a
character in the story The Birthmark, by the American writer
Nathaniel Hawthorne, in which a scientist becomes obsessed with a
stain on his wife, invents a concoction to remove that stain and
achieves his objective, but in doing so his wife also dies.
The Scientist was written by Chris Martin in 2002, in Liverpool.

LYRICS:
The lyrics are about a boy who realizes the mistakes he made and
that led to his relationship with a girl ending, because he behaved
like a scientist - analytically, rationally and logically - instead of
opening his heart and let yourself be carried away by your emotions
and feelings, as she did.
