I prostrate to the supreme Guru, who is none other than the glorious
Primordial Protector Samantabhadra! How wonderful! This path of the
absolutely effortless Great Bliss Primordial Purity, which is untainted by the
stain of exertion! Here will be made clear the unprecedented, most profound,
and ultimate vital essence of the path of the powerful siddha-adepts, of the
great Awareness-Holders! Here I will offer a few notes on the King of Yogas
of the supreme vehicle of the Clear Light Great Perfection - on the means
through which to refine the expression of the wisdom of the Primordial
Purity Great Bliss, on the consummation of the most profound and secret
pith instructions of the revered Guru of primordial awareness,

Firstly, the proper consort for Karmamudra practice is beautifully-
proportioned and attractive; her upper and lower parts are well developed
and her voice is high and fine. Her breasts are perky and her vagina is small,
tight and compact. She bears the birth-marks of body, speech, and mind in
the three places [i.e. on her head and throat, and at her heart]. In particular,
she has a white panacea or ‘all-in-one’ mark on her left armpit. Her body
and lotus are delicious-smelling, her voice is gentle and pleasant. She speaks
honestly and doesn’t breathe even a word of the profound doctrine of Secret
Mantra in the direction of (unqualified) others. She is intelligent, wise and
full of great compassion. In particular, she feels devotion towards and has
faith in the accomplished masters and doctrine of the Secret Mantra. She is
an expert in the path of sexual congress and can experience extreme bliss.
She knows how to ‘suck’, or pull on the vajra with her lotus.

Sitting across from each other on a comfortable seat in your secluded
place (of practice), without blocking the creative expression of primordial
awareness, you and an excellently qualified mudra (consort) as described

should practice this swift path of Great Bliss Primordial Purity for the
sake of all sentient beings. Move forward with the intention to be liberated
and pass beyond into the great dissolution of phenomena that transcends
all conceptual thought. Then, without having stirred from the state of the
primordial purity of rigpa [do as follows}:
Firstly: gaze upon the consort’s body and face with a smiling and desirous
expression, and sustain the natural glow of awareness without blocking your
experience of bliss.

Then, with the consort singing and dancing, expressing all kinds of sweet
melodies and sexy talk, maintain and nurture the glow of awareness that
shines forth from the original ground of natural and innate rigpa, without
blocking the bliss you're experiencing. ‘Then, while sustaining rigpa but
without blocking your experience of its bliss-aspect which comes from its
very ground or nature, smell the delicious fragrance of the consort’s body.
Next, sucking on the consort’s tongue, lips, and so on, sustain rigpa without
blocking the blissful experience of the natural glow of awareness. Then, touch
the consort’s body, scratch your fingernails across her sensitive, ticklish
spots and her breasts, touch the outside of her lotus with your vajra, and
maintain rigpa without blocking the bliss of the natural glow of awareness.
Rely like this on the stages of ‘foreplay’ or preliminary practices and gain
greater and greater bliss. Maintaining the View of the ultimate reality or
nature of phenomena, work with the creative energy of the senses and train

as the magician’s illusory display [that they truly are].

Next, for the main practice:
Without wavering from the state of primordially pure rigpa and without
blocking your perception of yourself and the consort manifesting from
the glow of awareness in the divine appearance of Samantabhadra and
Samantabhadri in union, unite together. Push the vajra into the lotus. As both
of your gently vibrating thiglé or energy-drops gradually descend, move more
and more slowly. When it comes down to the secret [place], stop moving.
{Rest in] the state of ‘ordinary awareness’, the essence of rigpa which is
primordially pure emptiness-clarity, in that naked state untainted and
unadulterated by any meditation involving distinctions assumed by the
mind, unobscured by any aggregates, constituents or sensory bases skanhdas,
dhatus, ayatanas whatsoever. Abide in this wholly unobstructed state of
being and awareness, free from any distinction between outside, inside, and
everything in-between. Without blocking your experience of rigpa’s bliss-
aspect which comes from its compassionate aspect, rest unwavering in the
{ultimate, unconditioned] nature of these. If you [feel that] your bliss is on the

verge of subsiding, the consort should move a little, slowly and gently. If yo
feel like you're about to lose control [i.e. and ejaculate], stop all movement
Relax your gaze into space and in this way (rest) unwavering in the basic
naturally present state of rigpa. Train again and again in working with th
creative expression of rigpa without blocking your bliss. Then finally, t:
reverse the thiglé, roll your vision upwards and send the drop back up.

By focusing without clinging to the upper expanse of the space of the
primordial purity of awareness, the thiglé will reverse [direction] withow
effort. Next, to spread the thiglé out: separating from the consort, cover the
top of your knees with both hands and completely relax your whole body
Relax into the naturally present state of the primordial purity of awarenes:
which is without any fixed reference point of above, below, outside or inside
Rest like this for however long you like. The thiglé will travel about througk
the ‘eyes’ of the channels of its own accord, without any effort. In this way.
solely through this, by resting without distraction in the state of the great
primordial purity of awareness, all of [the movements of] the thiglé - bringing
it down, holding, reversing and spreading it out - will occur effortlessly.

[Work with] the thiglé in this way continuously and [prevent] it from
deteriorating. After distilling the pure essence of the thiglé from the dregs
about four times during the enhancement practices, finally send [it] out
without remainder into the sky-like womb of the consort. If at that time
some residual [conceptual] thought still remains, liberate it by dissolving
it utterly in the state of un-deteriorated innate awareness. Thus, having
grasped the vital heart of the path, and having put it into practice, all of

the collected phenomena of subject-and-object [duality] will be resolved
and brought to extinction within a single lifetime. At last, you will seize the
stronghold within the inner realm or expanse of the primordial purity of
motionless and changeless rigpa.

From the primordial wisdom of the subtle luminous profundity [which
comes from] this dimension [of being], two body-aspects or manifestations
of outer luminosity will shine forth like the playful dancing and revelry or
magical display of the moon reflecting in water! In an instant, they will send
out one billion [emanated forms] in response to the devotion and needs of
disciples! Oh! Such amazingly fortunate ones! Why exert yourselves on the
path of effort and toil, if when you enter this effortless, swift path of the
Lion’s Leap [the nature of all things] will be discerned and distinguished in
an instant?
[This I have] obtained - this means of means, this path of Great Bliss
Primordial Purity, this secret of secrets, this life-blood of the Dakinis, this
most profound of profound [teachings], this essence of the mind of the holy
ones! It is the wonder of the quintessential, miraculous path, the essence
of the deepest ocean of such methods, the heart-jewel of the Vidyadhara
Nagarjuna, the Lord of the Nagas, the Great Secret of the swift path, the
king of all wish-fulfilling jewels and the crown of Ayu Indra. It is nothing
short of the supreme path of the highest yoga for those endowed with the
highest capacities, it is not a point-of-entry for less capable individuals of
the lower vehicles.

‘This path of the Great Bliss Primordial Purity, this profound, utmost secret
consummation is like the very life-force of the path of Drubwang Jalii Dorje
‘Tsal, is like the very depths of his mind. Although all sorts of other Lower
Gate Great Bliss [i.e. Karmamudra] methods have been compiled in most of
the classes of Tantras in the New and Old schools, these have all been ones
involving effort. No one before now has been able to proclaim an essential
teaching like this, one which is totally effortless and which [emerges]
from the state of primordially pure rigpa that goes beyond all conceptual
thought. Being distinctly and supremely exalted this Great Secret path is the
pristine King of Yogas of our own tradition of Vajrayana, {meant for] future
generations, and is not something to be practiced by any other.
O Black Tantric Protectress, [with your one] forehead eye, watch over
this teaching closely and lovingly!
