Work Book 4
Learning
Objective ● Understand the relationship between multiples and factors .
Unit objective Ss can find out the multiples and factors of a number.
Main Teaching
Starter (3 min) As you know the times table of 1 to 12, you know the multiples of those
numbers.
Share the LO T will inform the Ss what they will learn in the class.
(2 min)
Explore the At first T will recite 3 times table and T will explain that the numbers from the
topic (10 min) result line are the multiples of that number.
By considering a single line from the times table or from the multiplication
fact the numbers which are multiplied by each other are factors of the
number after the equation.
Here the multiple could be recognized as a big number, Mother and the
factors are smaller ones are children of multiple.
Unit objective Ss can find out the multiples and factors of a number.
Main Teaching
Starter (3 min) Rounding numbers makes them 'easier' to use or understand whilst also keeping the
number close to its original value.
Share the LO T will inform the Ss what they will learn in the class.

Unit objective Get to know the addition with and without carrying
Main Teaching
Starter (3 min) Do you know place value helps us to determine the value of a digit in a
number. And From the splitted numbers we can make a whole number.
Share the LO T will inform the Ss what they will learn in the class.
(2 min)
Explore the ● T will explain addition, addition operation has to be started from ones
topic (10 min) column.
● T will tell that after adding the digits of one column if the outcome is
of one digit it will be in that column.
● if the outcome is of two digits number, the ones digit will stay in that
column and the tens digit will be carried to the next column
Differentiation
(if any)
Islamic Link Αl-Biruni was an astronomer, mathematician and philosopher, studying
physics and natural sciences too. He was the first able to obtain a
simple formula for measuring the Earth's radius.
Plenary T will ask the Ss what they have learnt in today’s class.

Reflection and
Evaluation
Main Teaching
Starter (3 min) Suppose you have 5 apples and I give you 2 more apples , now how many
apples do you have in total?
Share the LO T will inform the Ss what they will learn in the class.

Unit objective Ss can subtract with and without borrowing up to ten thousand.
Main Teaching
Starter (3 min) Greet students.
If you subtract zero from a number what will you get?
Share the LO T will inform the Ss what they will learn in the class.
(2 min)
Explore the ● At first T will explain the place value in short.
topic (10 min)
● Then T will make a box with place values to write both of the numbers
from the question according to the place value.
● T will tell to show the lower numbers with fingers .
● Then back count from the upper line number
● If the upper line number is smaller than lower line number then 1 will
be borrowed from the next column and will be added to the previous
column upper number.
● If someone recites this surah 10 times, Allah will build a house for him in
Jannah.
● Angles will be present on his death who will recite this surah more.
