A. INTRODUCTION
This proposal outlines the scope of works to be offered by LAB-IND

RESOURCE SDN BHD (known as LIR BIOTECH) for Sunny Appearance.
LIR BIOTECH will undertake on a turnkey basis to design and equip a
functional molecular detection lab using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
technology. LIR BIOTECH will also provide hands-on training on the
methodology and techniques. The ‘TOTAL SOLUTION APPROACH’ will ensure
a proper operational laboratory work-flow.
The advantages:
1. We integrate the hardware, detection platforms/methodology and reinforced

with practical skills training.
2. Quickly establish a functional lab and user does not need worry about the
equipment and operational integration.
3. We emphasize knowledge and skills based training to ensure operations
continuity and very important, human resource development.
4. This will also allow us to follow through the progress of the lab.
B. WORK SCOPE
PCR Laboratory
1. Design Lay-out and equipment requirements

2. Provide suitable detection platforms
3. Provide operational training on both equipment and techniques
4. Detection of desire target using Real-Time PCR method

C. HOW LAB-IND RESOURCE SDN BHD CAN OFFER OUR SERVICES?
1. Human resource training – we are able to provide training on proper

utilization of equipment and techniques for disease detection at the
laboratory level. These will be hands-on. LIR Biotech will offer additional
hands-on training courses to update the lab’s staff practical and theoretical
skills. Continuously professional technical advice and backup will provide
by LIR Biotech, to ensure/guarantee a fully functional lab.
2. Standardize all the protocol – including procedures for sample collection,

DNA/RNA preparation and storage, PCR amplification and sample
analysis, and preparation and use of control reagents. LIR Biotech will
provide definitive diagnostic in difficult or unusual cases, and technical
advice to your hatchery.
3. Result Orientation – We will facilitate diagnostic methods by monitoring

developments, evaluating tests and assisting their inclusion, as
appropriate, into standard test procedure.
4. Quality Assurance – LIR Biotech can facilitate the laboratory to

participate in PCR inter-calibration (a proficiency-testing program) by the
oversea recognize body. This will evaluate the lab internal QC from time to
time and advice will be given if there is a need.
5. Back-up – LIR Biotech PCR lab will act as a back-up lab incase major lab
contamination occur. Decontamination procedure will be taken under
guidance of experience lab adviser.

Work Scope:
Supply complete turnkey project including equipment, working
consumables and hands on training package for Sunny Appearance.
Delivery:
10 - 12 weeks after order confirmation
Warranty:
Standard 12 months against manufacturer’s defects from commissioning
date. Wrong use of equipment and abuse is not covered.
Payment:
50% down payment on order confirmation and balance 50% before
delivery.
