A Redemption (378 words)

I am truly glad that Langara College offers entrance awards for international students. For the last two
years, I have rather been occupied with finding myself in the big wide world than attentively work or study.
Above all life lessons observed through my philosophical journey ‘til 22 of age, I have learned that a man
is nothing but his own story of Robin Hood. This story does not involve three little pigs and a big bad wolf.
I mean to say a man has got to keep his own story independent from other stories like his parents’,
siblings, or any other crazy person’s. Otherwise he’ll end up a bad dinner himself. Beside this, a good
thing is that, though I have always thought of myself to be an artist, I found myself being my best at
composition. But the bad thing is that a personal breakthrough requires super attention and I didn’t get to
make much money on my own during the time. So I really need the entrance award so that I can afford to
begin a financially soft start living abroad by myself. Hence I ask the kind office of Langara College to help
me on my costly realized mission to become an outstanding philosopher in the future.

About my personal breakthrough, I learned three important lessons.

1) Compared to the times of having been inspired from within, an effort is the smallest part for a
change, but it is a change nonetheless.
2) The best organization is organized thoughts. It took me 2 years to get this on my own. What a
great accomplishment!
3) Best music is being confident among people. It is so joyous yet sad to feel the fire of many happy
people. Even with the limitless supply of music on Youtube, confidence in public is more musical
than any music, especially for me who is a difficult introvert.

Upon mastering philosophy, I will probably shift to psychiatry instead. At that time, I suspect there could
be an anxious introvert hiding himself under him himself inside every learning community, out there. May
discovering that man and help transforming that man into an extrovert be my contribution to the learning
community. Until then, may the kind office of Langara be more kind to award me financially.
