Remember to play only one string at a time and one note at a time! It is
so important to stretch your fingers and to exercise them, as it means
that you will get stronger and be able to fret the guitar better all the time.
A NEW Chord!!!
F
F C F A C F
The correct way to play an F chord is shown above. But this is a very difficult chord to play to
start with, as although you already know how to play an E chord, it is a chord called a barre
chord, and these are difficult to play to start with.
SO, instead this is the best way to play the chord is as shown below. Using your first finger
you need to put your finger on the top two strings (the B and the E). Your second finger needs
to go in the second fret and the third string, whilst your third finger needs to go on the third
fret and the fourth string.
This is a tricky chord and will take some practice. Take your fingers off the strings and place
them back on, so that your fingers can find their place easier.
