Valencia
Design Elements

❏ Tape Measure: measure, construction

❏ Level: determine plumness of objects
❏ Lights: parallel circuit
❏ Battery: three 1.5 volt batteries, series circuit.
FAI Designs

❏ Made out of 3D printing materials

❏ function of the object: Aid in construction and home
projects
❏ who makes the object: could be made by companies who
focus on home improvement
How the Object Operates

❏ identify the inputs: plastic, metal, water (level) and

solder.
❏ Functions: measures the length/width of objects, aids in
determining if objects are level and provides a
flashlight.
❏ Outputs: measurements, plumbness and light.
❏ Consumers could use it for measuring, leveling and
lighting while working on a specific project.
CAD model
To reflect, Ava, Isabel and Fiona
worked on this reverse engineering
project together. The project was
challenging but fun, it taught us a
lot of things like perseverance.
The 3D printed box consists of, a
spot to hold a tape measure, a hole
for a level, a hole for a button to
turn on the lights which are
connected on a parallel circuit
board, and a spot for the actual
light to beam out of.

We have a CAD model of our project

that was created on Fusion 360. We
used a lot of new tools for this
project like, a soldering iron, a
sander and a 3D printer. Overall,
the reverse engineering project was
a difficult task but in the end we
learned a lot and had fun doing it.
