Period of Hire

Key Information
Default Charges
Certain charges will be applied to your account if you don’t comply with the full terms of your ø Lease Pay Monthly Mobile Agreement (or Business Contract for relevant Business Customers)
with us (the “Agreement”). The full list of Default Charges under the Agreement are set out in the Agreement itself. A copy of the Agreement has been given to you and is also available
online at o2.co.uk/terms.
A summary of the Default Charges is as follows:
(a) late payment on overdue payments
You must pay your monthly Lease Payments by the date stated on your bill. For any overdue payments we may charge interest at 2% per annum above the base lending rate of
HSBC Bank Plc. That interest will be calculated from the due date until the date of payment and on a daily basis.
(b) charges arising from loss of the device
You must return the leased goods when you or we terminate your Lease under the Agreement. This might be at the end of your Lease or as a result of an earlier termination of the
Lease either by you or us under section 13 of the Agreement (section 14 for Business Customers). A failure to return the leased goods will result in a Default Charge of at most £402.
The relevant amount will depend on the value of leased goods and is set out in clause 9.3 of the Agreement;
(c) charges for failure to return a device in satisfactory condition
When you return the leased goods under the Agreement they must be in a satisfactory condition. Further details of what constitutes a satisfactory condition are set out in the
Agreement. This might be at the end of your Lease or as a result of an earlier termination of the Lease either by you or us under section 13 of the Agreement. A failure to return the
leased goods in satisfactory condition will result in a Default Charge of at most £402. The relevant amount will depend on the actual condition of leased goods and is set out
in clause 9.3 of the Agreement;
(d) charges for your remaining monthly Lease Payments
If you do not comply with your obligations under the Agreement and we terminate your Agreement as a result, we will charge you the sum of each of the remaining monthly Lease
Payments up to the end of the initial minimum term of your Agreement (being a maximum of 12 months);
(e) We reserve the right to make a charge for our reasonable administration costs which result from late or non-payment of Default Charges, such as our reasonable debt recovery costs.

Missing payments could have severe consequences and may make obtaining credit more difficult.
