V. Statement of Purpose

Please mention the reasons for your application for MAF Scholarship and describe how you believe that
your past work, study and other activities meet the criteria for selection. Further, as mentioned in the
eligibility criteria, the candidate is expected to work for a cause in the area of education for the
underprivileged, on a voluntary or paid role. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be a brand
ambassador for Mirae Asset Foundation. The SoP should also entail how the candidate plans meet the
above requirements (450-500 words)

With immense enthusiasm and deep commitment, I submit my application for the Mirae Asset
Foundation (MAF) Scholarship. Growing up in a modest household as the child of a small farmer in
Bihar, I witnessed firsthand the dire state of education in my village. This experience has shaped my
journey and ignited an unyielding determination to bring about transformative change in the lives of
underprivileged children. Through this statement of purpose, I will elaborate on how my background,
experiences, and future plans align seamlessly with the MAF Scholarship criteria and its mission.

My journey began in an environment where access to quality education was a distant dream for
many. It was this experience that propelled me to pursue a degree in Dairy Technology. My academic
journey not only granted me essential skills but also ingrained in me a profound understanding of the
rural landscape, fostering a sense of responsibility to uplift my community. During my studies, I
actively engaged in community development projects, organizing workshops on basic hygiene,
nutrition, and the importance of education. These efforts marked the beginning of my commitment to
education for the underprivileged.

The MAF Scholarship resonates deeply with me, as it echoes my personal journey and aspirations. My
academic background in Dairy Technology equips me with the knowledge and skills required to
innovate in the field of education and community development. I am well-versed in creating
sustainable solutions that can address the challenges faced by underprivileged children in accessing
quality education. Furthermore, my intimate familiarity with rural life uniquely positions me to
understand the nuanced needs of these communities and tailor educational interventions that
