Microsoft Teams join meetings Step-by-Step Guide : Mobile Installation

1. Download and Install Microsoft Teams App from the Play store.

Once installed, Teams icon will be displayed.

2. Open the Teams application after installation, the following screen is displayed. Click
on Sign In.
Do not click on Sign up for free.

3. Enter your school provided Username.

Ensure to type only your child’s username provided by the school that ends with
@stmarysicsekk.com
DO NOT TYPE ANY OTHER STUDENT’S USERNAME.
Click on Sign in.
4. Type the password provided by the school. This is a one-time password. Type the
password and click Sign In.

5. At this point change the password and give a new password of your choice. After
confirming the new password, click on Sign In. Ensure to remember the
password of your choice for all future login procedure.

6. Once Sign in is clicked, a series of three screens will be displayed with the features of
Microsoft Teams. Click Next. Finally Click on Got it. This will direct you to the home screen.
7. Observe the panel on the lowermost part of the screen. These navigational
options will be used gradually.
Activity - Here you can see the messages sent,
activities done, notification of the scheduled
session.
Chat – This is used to chat with your teachers

Teams – In this tab, you will be able to see the

teams which you are a part of

Assignments – This tab is used to view the

assignments / test sent by teacher and also answer
to them
Calendar – This is used to see your schedule and
also join online classes scheduled by the teacher.

More… - This will give access to files, calls,

camera.

8. Click on Calendar. Join the class scheduled by the teacher, ensure the audio and video is
activated to enjoy the interactive session.

9. Once the teacher confirms that the class is over, click on to leave the class
