BASIC CONCEPT OF DISASTER AND DISASTER RISK

Objectives: This activity will help the students to distinguish the importance of
their gained knowledge about disaster in their chosen profession.

Guidelines:

1. Answer the given question using CER (Claim-Evidence-Reasoning) table.

2. In formulating your answers, please follow this format:

CLAIM – contains 2 sentences only. This will show the brief description of your
own answer to the given question. (for 5 points)
EVIDENCE – contains 3 sentences only. Valid references are needed in this part
to support your claim. (6 points)
REASONING – contains 4 sentences only. This will explain and synthesize your
initial answer and gathered evidence. (9 points)

3. Submit your outputs by uploading it in the Google Classroom following the given
due date by your instructor. The perfect score of this activity is 20, passing score is
16 (BSED). A scoring rubric will be used to rate your submitted outputs (See the
image below)
