SECTION 3: PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

Appearance : Clear and sticky liquid

Odour : Characteristic Odour

Solubility : Soluble in solvent

Specific Gravity : Part A = 1.00 – 1.15 g/cm3

Part B = 0.90 – 1.10 g/cm3

Viscosity : Part A = 10 -20secs

Part B = 40 – 50secs

Film drying time : 2 – 4hours

Film Clearity : Clear and gloss

Pot Life : 25 – 45minutes

SECTION 4: HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

Hazardous Ingredients : Epoxy, Modified Aliphatic Polyamine

Health Hazardous Effect : May irritation to upper respiratory tract. Skin or eye irritation on
prolonged or repeated exposure.

SECTION 5: FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation : Remove the victim to the fresh air area. If rapid recovery does not occur perform
artificial respiration and obtain medical attention.

Skin Contact : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin immediately with plenty of water and
soap. If persistent irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.

Eye Contact : Immediately flush the eye with running water for at least 15 minutes. If persistent
irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.

Ingestion : If the patient conscious, give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. If
rapid recovery does not occur, obtain medical attention

SECTION 6: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media : Sand,CO2 , foam and dry powder

Do not use water

Fire Fighting Instruction : Shut off fuel to fire if it is possible to do so without hazard. Avoid
flushing spilled material into sewers, streams and other bodies of water.
For small outdoor fires, portable fire extinguishers maybe used.
Respiratory and eye protection are required for fire fighting personnel.

Special Hazard : Do not cut, weld, heat or drill empty container

SECTION 7: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURE

Personal precaution Avoid breathing the vapors. See section 8 and 9

Environmental Precaution Do not contaminate the soil and surface water. Do not allow material to
enter
sewers.

Cleaning Procedure Absorb with sand or other suitable absorbent, sweep up and put it into a
container for disposal

SECTION 8: HANDLING AND STORAGE

Storage Keep in original, well closed container in well ventilated place. Keep
away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat or ignition. Do not
smoke in storage area.

Handling Do not eat, drink and smoke. Do not breathe vapor. Use local exhaust
extraction. Avoid contact with skin and eye. See section 9 for Personal Protection
Equipment.

9.2 Recommended Personal Protection Equipment

Eye and Skin Protection : Safety glasses, uniform, apron, glove (neoprene or nitril rubber are
recommended)

Respiratory Protection : Not required if adequate ventilation exist. If the air borne concentration
exceeds exposure limit, use adequate respiratory protection such as
approved cartridge respirator for organic vapor.( Gas only)
9.3 Ventilation

Use general local exhaust extraction ventilation to meet exposure limit requirement.

Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions.

SECTION 11: TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Ingestion : Swallowing can result in nausea, vomiting and central nervous system
depression.

Eye contact : May be an eye irritant.

Skin contact : Contact with skin will result in irritation.

Toxicity Data : No experimental data of the product available

Effects of overexpose : Respiratory exposure to the solvents may lead to dizziness, headache,
vomiting and drowsiness

SECTION 12: ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Exhaust without treatment may damage wastewater drainage and biological decomposability.

SECTION 13: DISPOSAL INFORMATION

Waste disposal to be in accordance with the Environmental Quality (Schedule Wastes) Regulation 1989
and other Guidelines issued by the department of Environmental and Local Authorities
