A QUINTA
THE ESTATE
Situada em Valpaços, em plena Região Vitivinícola de
Trás-os-Montes, a Quinta Valle Madruga estende-se
por mais de 370 hectares de olival, vinha e amendoal.
O olival conta com cerca de 290 hectares,
dispersos em quatro propriedades interligadas
- Valle Madruga, Sª D’orada, Caravela e Jorjais.
Acolhendo as variedades típicas da região,
Cobrançosa, Madural, Verdeal Transmontana,
Negrinha de Freixo e Santulhanha. A vinha conta
atualmente com cerca de 40 hectares, divididos
por 13 castas que servem de base aos cartões-de-
visita da casa - os vinhos ‘Quinta Valle Madruga’ e
Madruga by ‘Valle Madruga’. À área restante, será
dada primazia à plantação de castas portuguesas.
O amendoal conta com as variedades Lauranne,
Vairo e Guara.
Produzir vinho e azeite reconhecidamente de
qualidade superior, e que seja o expoente máximo
da região, é a motivação da Família Martins Ribeiro
neste projeto.

Located at Valpaços, in the heart of the Trás-os-Montes
Wine Region, Quinta Valle Madruga spreads across 370
acres, of vineyards, olive groves and almond trees.
The olive grove has oround 290 acres, scattered
into four distinct properties - Valle Madruga, Sª
D’orada, Caravela and Jorjais - accommodating
the typical varieties of the region, Cobrançosa,
Madural, Transmontana Verdeal, Negrinha de
Freixo and Santulhanha. The 40 acres vineyard
is divided into 13 regional wine varietals,
which form the basis of the wines ‘Quinta Valle
Madruga’ and Madruga by ‘Valle Madruga’.
In the remaining area, priority will be given to
Portuguese varietals.
The almond trees accommodating the varieties
Lauranne, Vairo and Guara.
To produce olive oil and wine of recognised superior
quality, that will be the maximum expression of the

A adesão da Família Martins Ribeiro a este
projecto, assenta por um lado, no amor à exploração
agrícola que Elói Ribeiro bebeu na sua juventude,
com particular evidência de cultura do Olival e da
Vinha, e, por outro lado, o amor à natureza que a
sua mulher Eufémia Ribeiro sempre cultivou e quis
“experimentar”.
Esta foi a matriz criadora desta “viagem”, sempre
no respeito da cultura ausente destes produtos e
sustentabilidade ambiental, que os seus filhos André
e Tiago, com abordagens sempre inovadoras, são os
rostos da família no desenvolvimento do negócio.
Tiago responsável pela gestão do negócio em Portugal,
é Engenheiro mecânico e possui MBA em finanças.
Antes de abraçar este projeto, Tiago passou por
consultoria estratégica em multinacionais e Direção
de Empresas no sector da construção e indústria.
André responsável pela gestão no negócio internacional,
é Engenheiro civil e possui MBA em gestão de empresas.
Assumiu desde cedo cargos em Conselhos de
Administração em empresas em Portugal e Moçambique.

The adhesion of the Martins Ribeiro Family to this
project is based on the one hand, in the love for the
agricultural exploration that Elói Ribeiro drank in his
youth, with particular evidence of Olival and Vineyard
culture, and, on the other hand, the love of nature his
wife Eufémia Ribeiro always cultivated and wanted to
“experiment”.
This was the creative matrix of this “trip”, always
respecting the absent culture of these products and
environmental sustainability, that their children André
and Tiago, with always innovative approaches, are the
faces of the family in the development of the business.
Tiago responsible for managing the business in
Portugal, his background is Mechanical Engineer and
has an MBA in finance. Before this project, Tiago was
strategic consultant for multinational enterprises and
Manager in construction and industrial companies.
André responsible for international business,
is a civil engineer and has an MBA in business
management. Early on, André has been appointed to
Board of Directors in Portugal and Mozambique.

THE WINERY
Em 2017 foi aberta a Adega à produção. Construída
de raiz, de linhas direitas mas bem enquadrada
no ambiente envolvente, parecendo ai adormecer,
dando uma sensação de continuidade, constitui
só por si um peça arquitectónica de valor superior.
A sua construção teve por “guião” eficiência
energética, bem como a higienização e simplificação
do processo de transformação, engarrafamento,
rotulagem e stockagem.
Situada na Quinta do Alto, a Adega Valle Madruga
reúne condições únicas e favoráveis à criação de
vinhos distintos e de elevada qualidade.

In 2017 the Winery was opened to production.

A produção oleícola baseia-se nos cultivares de
denominação de origem protegida de Trás-os-
Montes, merecem especial referencias as ancestrais
Cobrançosa, Madural, Verdeal Transmontana,
Negrinha de Freixo e Santulhana. , dando garantia da
alta qualidade e especificidade do azeite produzido.
A gama de produtos é constituída por PRESTIGE,
PREMIUM e CLASSIC.
