Can you please give me some advice
about travelling to Canada next summer?
Canada is a very big country, but my
family and I have only 2 weeks holiday.
Can you suggest three places for us that
you think we should visit, and at least
three activities? We can travel anywhere
in Canada – we are bilingual, so Quebec
is no problem. And any other province or
territory or city would also be OK, since
we love travelling.

Dear Anita,
Last week, I started my new job as the
Prime Minister of Canada. As you know,
Canada – from the Maritimes, to British
Columbia, to the North Pole – is a great
country and I am very proud to be a
Canadian. However, I would like to make
it an even better place to live. What new
laws or social changes could make
Canada an even better place?
I have a really interesting homework
assignment. Our teacher wants us to
design a new Canadian flag. She says
that the maple leaf design is great, but
she wants us to think about what makes
Canada special to us – and then draw
that as the Canadian flag. Anita, I’m not
sure what to draw. Should I draw some
mountains – maybe the Rockies?
Should I draw an animal like a bear? Or
maybe something different? Can you
give me some ideas – what makes
Canada special for you? What kind of
flag would you draw? What colors would
you use? Thank you very much!
