REFLECTION

Laudato Si, which translates to "Praise Be to You, My Lord," is Pope

Francis' second encyclical. The Encyclical Laudato Si is built around the
idea of internal ecology as a paradigm that allows us to express the
bond between God and us as individuals.

Observing things from a poor person's perspective. For me, Pope

Francis wanted to make the point that we should take care of and protect
the poor. One of our life's goals is to aid the poor. Particularly when we
are the ones who are fortunate, we must show them kindness and
generosity. We ought to be the change and the light that the
underprivileged want to see. It could take the form of a feeding program,
tutoring for children, financial donations, or any other kind of help. Giving
to the less fortunate fulfills our responsibility as God's children and gives
us a chance to enter the Kingdom of God, or heaven. Additionally,
helping others—especially the poor—gives our hearts peace and our
souls a place to rest, which changes how we feel when we've
accomplished something.

The Earth, where we currently reside, is another factor. To maintain a

healthy environment is crucial to our wellbeing. We can achieve balance
in our daily lives thanks to the Earth. God made nature, and it sustains
us and keeps us alive. Making a difference can be done in even the
smallest of ways, like properly disposing of trash, avoiding the burning of
plastics, and refraining from illegal acts that harm the environment, like
illegal logging or swimming.

Small changes can lead to big changes. Although we should start out on
our own, more is preferable. Therefore, we must be kind, generous, and
sympathetic to everyone—not just the poor. Put God at the center of
your life so that you can see things from God's perspective.
