NAIL CARE

LO: PREPARE THE NECESSARY TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE SPECIFIC NAIL CARE ACTIVITY

 Objective: To prepare the necessary tools and equipment for the specific nail care activity under the DepEd
Philippines K to 12 Curriculum Guide. Code: TLE_HEBC7/8UT-0a-b-1 Grade Level: 7th-8th grade

Subject: Technology and Livelihood Education

(1) Review: Review the importance of personal hygiene and grooming, as well as the benefits of having well-
groomed nails.

(2) Motivation: Show pictures of well-groomed nails and ask students to identify the tools and equipment
needed to achieve that kind of nail care.

(3) Activity:

 Demonstrate and explain the use of each tool and equipment needed for the specific nail care activity.
 Provide a hands-on activity where students practice using the tools and equipment.
 Ask students to group themselves and come up with a list of alternative tools and equipment that can be used
for nail care.

(4) Analysis: Ask students to identify the proper handling and storage of each tool and equipment used for
nail care.

(5) Abstraction: Discuss the importance of proper handling and storage of tools and equipment in
maintaining their quality and extending their lifespan.

(6) Application: Provide a real-life scenario where students need to prepare the tools and equipment for a nail
care activity for a client.

(7) Assessment:
